I'm looking to own my first Ducati and the bike that really made my jaw dropped is the Ducati Sport Classic 1000S.

 

Minerva has one last remaining piece left but I'm looking to get a used one.

 

Does anyone know who is thinking of letting theirs go?

've u paid all for your 916 alrady,if yes shouldn't be much of an expense,

only pays to use the road,sweeten the lta coffers & some go juice , u 're done.

u noe, ah ,back in the olden days , its not easy to buy a 916/996 anywhere in the world , with ducati/cagiva getting into some financial problem,suppliers/vendors wants payment upfront , so in borgo panigale many bikes but incomplete , so they can't be delivered to dealers.

but very funny situation happens,you can juzz walk up to minerva in the 90s

& buy a 916 !

i dunno how they do it but right before your eyes , a few 916 include the sp model sit right there!

if you 've the dole of coarse ! 33 big ones mate for the basic model,if u need to noe.

so i drop by minerva , every too often to snap fotos & basically to be near my dream bike.

not many ppl noe dat i flew all the way to the nec(uk)to see the launch in 1993 but than i got free air ticket ,every year!

what i did notice is ppl wish upon their dream bike but the moment they get hold of it,its done,complete,finishto!

basically its a beginning of a beautifull relationship,TILL DEATH DO US APART??????

for the record,i bought two 916 , a new & a not so new, a biposto & a sports production special.

heard about u mention something like tiring to ride to work , i also do that lst time too plus i also did ride to johore for el cheapo petrol,

until today , i still can't figure out why i do such silly things.exuberance of youth,perhaps.

yeah... bike is fully paid... but still... after calculating all the little things that we want to get for the house plus my tenant suddenly found a place, so my renovation would be starting a lot earlier... we ended up short...close to 20k...

 

We're going to take a reno loan to cover the gap, but I cannot be selfish and hold on to the bike plus the car... Sigh...

 

Actually my wife wants me to keep the bike... Lol... She said I seem happier after I got the bike...

 

I will definitely be back... Maybe another 916/1098, Monster S4R/900 or Street Fighter? If all works out, I can be in the market for another duke in June 2011...

 

You guys better be around there when I come back! At least I know a few faces now...

I am very tempted to get an 848 or monster 696 or 1100. Anybody could give me a heads up of roughly how much is it to put on the road?Also, does minerva do loans? Thanks upfront for any information given. Considering my options though deep in my hear goes to getting a ducati...always been a dream

What are typical problems with the monster 400?

 

Whats the going rate for the M400 these days?
