848 doesnt comes with a single seat cover. too bad urs is dark, i have 1 carbon painted red and a oem red cover. LOL

848 do have single seat for sale, but dont comes with the bike as far as i know. Only 1098 and above comes stock. I'm on a red 1098

Hi, refer to ducati.ms forum (http://www.ducati.ms/forums/showthread.php?t=65886) I thought of getting those aluminium fuel sender nuts as a standby just in case mine leaks. However, the distributor is unsure if the aluminum nuts will fit into my 95' 916 biposto. Any of you 916/996 riders could advice if this nuts could replace e current stock sender nuts which is made of plastic? Thank You. If can fit, i dun mind sharing the shipping cost, which is US$14. The aluminium nut itself cost US$30. Thank You.

For sealing fluids plastics do a better job than metals. The only draw back is that certain grade/types of plastic tend to deteriorate after some time, especially when ambient conditions are less than ideal. That's why we see in PTFE (tape usually) being applied between the screw threads in our household plumbing.

Hi evry1, any of you heard of the latest fuel additive - Atom Power? I read gd reviews abt it in motor culture magazine and they even had it tested on a 916 and rsv4 which they claimed it improves milleage and runs cooler. However after purchasing it, i'm sceptical to try it as this product is made in korea. (Not that i'm biased towards e koreans bt if it were made in italy or german it sounds promising to be tested on a duc.)

I couldn't find your newbs section in the forum search engine, so I'll post up here in familiar territory DUCATI's I'm an old hand to bike forums, being and active member of mainly Ducati.ms, Ducati-Superbikes.com & Sportbikeforum.net. Since Singapore is pretty close to home and you guys have a lot more specialty big bike aftermarket shops, then I'm happy to be here and glean some local knowledge & resources.

 

I live in Northern Thailand with my family when not working in the Middle East (it pays the bills). I currently have a 2004 999S with just over 11,000kms on the clocks with a couple of tasteful mods done to it. Let me know what you think. Greetings evry1.. I have a relative who works at vicom and a couple of days bck he viewed my 916 at my plc while visiting. He told me that in Singapore Termi's for ducati's are not legal yet unless you have a cert for it. He claimed that due to a corruption bust at sin ming vicom by CPIB, it's hard for Vicom nowadays to close an eye for vehicle inspection. Raymond felt e pinch too as he gt alot of work to do evrytime customers send in their ducs for inspection.

 

Well i'm not that worried abt inspections, just that have any1 of u with uncertified Termis been stopped by uncle sam on e roads or road blocks before?

 

Coz if uncle sam were to saman us, then it's nt fair coz i don't think e Harley's pipes were street legal too.. bt mst of them got away wif it.

after i installed my full termis. mary told me that 2 of our riders got stopped but was let off with nothing but a verbal warning. and also they were told to changed back to orginals. for the harley part. it all depends on luck and who you meet on the street. hahah

i got a friend who just bought a ducati hypermotard 1100 revo or sth at around 38k...

Any barnett clutch plates users around? When my bike temperature gets hot eg. 170 F', my throttle seems to be revving high when moving off but the bike accelerate slow and heavy as if it were half clutching and i got to keep playing with e cluth lever before the bike could roll back to normal. I observe this only happens when bike temperature is almost 3/4 to max.

 

Could it be the cluth plates? Lan, do u encounter this problem when ur bike is very hot?
