I just got a 4mth old white 848. Condition of bike is fantastic except the previous owner dropped it on the left before. There is a crack on the fairing where the left mirror is mounted.

 

Wonder if anyone can advise where I can repair this crack or should I just replace it. Anyone who replaced it before can advise how much it cost new? Heard from the previous owner that parts for duc takes extremely long to arrive after ordering, eg his termis hasn't arrive after 5 mths.

Parts should be fast now, this was a problem in Italy and has been mostly fixed...

I'd repair it, even if you only keep it as a spare. thewre is a good online parts catalog here, http://www.ducatiomaha.com/products.asp

I just installed it using some pre-loaded maps and configurations, and am now itching to change a few parameters. Would appreciate someone who's nearby to seek guidance on some issues.

Need some advice...

I experience cramps/tightness on my both arms when riding?is this normal?felt like bike is leaning more to the right...some mech say normal due to bike specs?It's really killing the enjoyment of riding my 848...any guys experience the same prob?any guys know how to overcome it?

Yup, from the america. The vendor (ducshop) is very supportive and helpful, but the time zone difference and communication channel makes things complicated. The user manual aint the best either.

 

I'm using a pre-set map, and looking forward to fine-tune them in the near future.

I've got the Kyle Racing adjustable angle bars (slightly longer than stock and can be adjusted in tilt) and so far it's quite nice. My wrist/arm dont hurt that bad anymore.

I think you need to ride the bike more to built those muscles. It'll go away after you're used to it.

 

Get a friend to ride behind you, he/she will be able to tell if it's the bike or your posture.

More muscle mass if frequent ride a duc...it nvr cross my mind when buying a duc cud help me develop muscles...hahaha....

Btw,any guys here got freebies from them?also does 848 dark comes with a single seater?went to Minerva,they were unsure of it...
