I'd suggest you give Racewerks a call and see if they can sort your bike out. Else if you don't wanna ride into the hornet's nest, you can circumvent it by enlisting two way towing service for abt $50 to $60. Fuss and worry free...

Back to the ducati. Finally got the termis up on the 900SS today. Sounds lovely. The symphony of the desmo clatter and the whirring open dry clutch coupled with the bass of the termis is simply a Grammy award winning soundtrack. I got the termis after a bro here spotted one on eBay for me. But alas, it had a serious baffle that made it squeak like a mouse. I foolishly sent it to my former mechanic to un baffle it but he messed it up big time. He did not dare kill the 2nd pipe so he gave up and returned me the mess. The good man from seng Kwang took his time and saved my termis from becoming scrap metal and carbon. Thats why these guys are the best in the business. Lesson learnt... The termis recreated by sk has a very low bassy sound. Not too loud. Just a little louder than stock but it's all bass. I have a wide grin on my face all day today. Have a great weekend guys. TBH i'm quite sure there is no rule that prevents you from putting a sticker on any part of your bike including the mufflers. But not 100% confirm of course. Since i intend to debadge it, it also comes down to how the GPR badge is affixed to the mufflers. If it's riveted, then removing the rivets to debadge would probably be considered a modification since you can only remove the rivets by drilling into them, thereby exposing the rivet holes. But if its a sticker, I can just peel it off or even put the sticker over the original and the rest of the pipe remains intact/legal. I checked the designs but GPR pipes come with many different ways of affixing the badge. Some types are riveted, others are just stickers. Have to see what type is mine when the pipes actually arrive.

I reckon the worst they could do is compel me to go for inspection. I have no problem with that since i live 2 mins from LTA..haha

 

P.S I personally wouldn't risk running race cans with no stickers. Having no marking implies you have something to hide, i think TP would pick up on that pretty quickly

 

I too had a fair bit of experience with GPR street legal cans and their straight thru race cans when they just arrived in SG. Like you mentioned, they don't sound half as good as most pipes but no choice if legality is the main consideration here.

I recall only the aluminium cans come with sticker tags. The black one (aka Poppy) you posted with the sticker tag is actually a CF look alu end can.

 

Your CF ones will probably look like the 1st pic with riveted tags.

Though still small in resoltuion, these are the best shots of the upcoming 2012 Ducati Superbike 1199 that we’ve seen to-date. Testing at the Mugello circuit in Italy a few months ago (alongside Ducati Corse and the Ducati Desmosedici GP12), Ducati is slowly progressing on the Superbike 1199‘s final design, which sees the flagship motorcycle ditching its trellis frame for a MotoGP-inspired stressed airbox front end.

 

The Superquadrata v-twin motor is built overly-square, and should produce nearly 200hp in its max trim. Other features are the LED headlight system, a horizontally-mounted rear shock, and a unicorn tears lubrication system (we’re not so sure about one of these three features). Expect more photos and info to “leak” out of Ducati as we get closer to EICMA, where the Ducati Superbike 1199 will debut.
