Can. What's used for cars are also used for bikes.

 

As an alternative to those bulky white framed P-plates, places like *h *oy sell those frameless, flexible stick-on ones, but TP can sometimes catch you on that - even though that there isn't any hardstanding rule...

 

Moreover, I do see some carrying cheap and flexible p-plates with the colour fading away. I believe that's one of the reasons why people get caught.

 

During my P-plate days, I used the flexible ones, with the neon material being durable i.e. the colour is as bright yellow/ as those normal framed ones .. The road authorities didn't comment or stop me for it. IMO, i prefer the flexible ones...at least they're not bulky.
