hi guys, would like to know how much R15 first hand / second hand would cost OTR and also the pro and cons in it. thanks :D

Your request quite... wide.

Hard to answer man. First hand R15 @ COE 1,999 was 8.3K.

If you're talking about currently COE, I guess the price would plus say 100 - 200 hundred more. Expect.. 8.5K?

BUT!

Price might dropped since R15 V2.0 is due to release in Southern East Asia shore some CNY period next year. So... Depends on marketing strategy.

2nd hand standard pegged @ 6K.

Some figures would never go away.. pertaining GST (7%), IU ($150), R/tax (64/yr) and the like. I bought mine 7.5K w/o insurance. :)

FBF plate...

Pros:

-Very efficient in petrol savings. You would expect atleast 35km/ litre. Had 40+ before.

-2T?? De-carbonising?? regular piston blok wash?? PISTON JAM?! No worries! Fuel injection + 4-stroke tech saves the day!

- Streamlined, aerodynamically balanced (personally). One of the better bike designed to weight out instability (like those who kept saying SP will skid and the such)

- VERY easy to maintain. Wash it regularly, talk to it, feed it with petrol regularly, sit on it regularly, start it regularly... And you can even wack the throttle since it's a high-revving bike.

- Quite alot of things to play around with. Sprocket? CDi? The such you would expect with sportsbike actually....

- Does not vibrate much during high-speed

Cons:

- if you see what's benefit the bonnet... it's an indian. :) (not the pure blooded Italian or the French you're expecting. New market)

- Scroll up.. There are problem with fuel pumps. (finger crossed)

- Personally I have quite some problem with my wheel bearings

- Not the typical fast bike you would expect? (top speed ranged 140 to 160 thus far)

- Not the fiercest bike you would expect, but the outlook still not bad actually

- Very electronically dependent

Foxin i got some question i need to ask... When i hit the road when gaining speed at 100 to 120 my bike vibrates alot... It feela like i am riding a scooter man... Is there any problem ? Hmm abt servicing my bike ? I haven been servicing my bike since july.. When is the best time to servicr my bike ? Engine oil part i they say when i hit 5000 km then change.. What are the things to look out in detail when sending bike for servicing ? Thanks in advance..

OK!

Well.. I do feel my bike gets rough as I progress from gear 4 onwards. The main thing is that I used 10-40 engine, which is thinner thus my bike feels a little more rough. That was tested with a 20-40 which is not that bad actually. For me I rode to sch almost everyday which is like 40+ KM full trip excluding misc trips. So for me I would change engine oil every 2 weeks, regardless of mileage since my engine runs a longer and prolong period.

Then... I practice every 3-5 oil change for one oil filter change. Then major service like blok servicing, conrod and the such will be much later date? I myself haven went or majot servicing yet. But I have the idea that it would be like every year once ba.

I would be expecting full servicing to have

-change spark plug

-coolant

-engine flush

-clean conrod, blok

-alignments

So... yay la. Would be better if more ppl could add in too :)

Bro, if u are saying ur bike vibrate alot when speed at 100 to 120, change ur balancer. change to a more heavy one. like myself and travis we change. after that get a better here and there. for foxin he most likely going get the balancer me and travis is using, next sat when we go to toh guan for service. so if u are interested, u might want to come meet us as well, then we can talk about it, the balancer we are using cost $65. and as well when changing ur balancer i will recommand u to ask the Tech to tune ur throttle free space. somehow it will help in long run. I don think ur vibration has anything to do with ur changing of E.O . =)
