Hi guys, I just changed my eo today... used M1 fully syn eo... Then came home read my manual, it did not states fully syn eo as an engine oil... will it affect my bike engine?

 

and while riding, my petrol is left with the last 3 bars and i heard very strong beeping sounds from my bike while riding.. is it normal? It sounds like computer beeping/metal rubbing against each other... anyone experience it before?

 

for the next 500km run-in, Can i exceed 90km/hr as long as i stay below 7.5krpm?

I believe all of us are using fully syn engine oil here. Err I never encounter the beeping sound before, maybe your oil have a hard time pumping?

 

Try not to drag during the run in. Make it smooth and you wouldn't regret

ok.. thanks.. i noticed that our clutch biting point is quite far compared to street bikes... The beeping sound will sometime be there and sometime not there... Zzz... How often do you guys lube your chain? I lube mine for the first time today... and i also need to get bikes washing tips... cos dunno what soap to use for the flairing...

thanks for the great replies..yup yup..full stock, accident free..i put in quite some sweat and blood inside this design..took myself bout a mth to design out and went down 219 for 2 weeks to oversee it's design progress..

The sound come from the wheel? And.. does it kinda subside when it reach around 20+km/h then it will *ying..ying..wing... yiinnnggg... stop* ?

 

lance: LOL! Why wouldn't i reply? HAHA! I've been watching the R15 market, with your COE initially quite high.. I'd say you can sell for 6.3 nego. Seen a down-to-earth red R15, 10k plus mileage, FBD selling 6.1K. Look like quite highly peg

 

edwin: Yay, our biting is far.. (and i thought it was just my bike only) can adjust though Like the bicycle cable like that, screw tighter or loosen for effect.

But use to it would be a fairly good advantage though. Traffic jam, gear shift.. NO PROBLEM!

yup... its that sound.. you also encountered that? what is it?

 

biting point far is abit scary... so everytime move off i throttle alot to prevent stalling... first day i got my bike i stalled while moving off at junction... scary... not got phobia le... but throttle more then ppl think i wanna race with them...

 

and BTW, how much it cost for a pair of new tyres? such as battleaxe? the shop owner keep asking me to change my tyres to a japanese brand... he say it cost $230 for one pair... it it chop carrot? any brand to recommend me?

They quote me $180 for full decal including tank? How come the pricing is such far aprat? Help me with decal design too? My bike is also black and am looking into either red, yellow or pink into it. Hehe. Nice design projectyou have!
