Cuz u didnt drag ur RPM. if u did it will be the same

Hi guys..

 

Wanna ask u guys something..So far within 1 year.. what have you guys changed so far?

 

Has anyone changed their chain sprockets?

ok.. i will try dragging to 5krpm before changing my gears...

no problem.. I think you should change your gear like... 7-ish? Somewhere there.

 

fowler: for the 4months I own this bike. Changed balancer, spark plug, engine oil, air filter, tyres... chain and sprocket like darn long then change?

drag until 7k? is it stressful on my chain or engine? ytd i am the slowest rider... dont dare wack bike... :(

When I was riding my R125, I redline my RPM everyday, for a year plus, also nothing happen to the engine or chain. lol

Suppose our bikes are high rev bike (don't know how to check though) and I realised that the bike kind have a 2-tier thingy.. hard to explain. It kinda like got more active when it reaches 7k to 9k rpm

I think you might be referring to the powerband?

 

Just change gear at the rpm where the max torque is produced.

I tried changing gear at every 5.5k rpm... really feel alot more power compared to changing at 4k rpm... hmmm... first time i felt my bike have so much power... and my engine become quite smooth after 70km/hr... think that time outing i wack abit le... now feel soooooo good. hurhur...

hi guys just passed my tp yesterday at ssdc. now looking between r15 and sp. just scared i buy r15 liao next year regret when new one come out... i plan to ride for 2 years :)

 

Hey bro..if u are not planning to ride 2b bikes for long,I guess any bikes will be relevant to you. R15 is a great bike to ride. :)

Edwin,if u change your gears at a lower RPM,your engine will be stress due to under power. Changing gears at higher RPM will ensure smoother and powerful ride. It will prolong engine gear system and dont forget to drop your gears when u decide to pump in the brakes. Consistent shifting of gears to match the road conditions will greatly affects your riding experience.

Hey bros, my bike seems to be having a squeaking sound coming from the front tire. Did some spot check, all looks ok. Will take a look again in the morning as I noticed it only tonight when I got home. Any thoughts?

i got it too... brakes pad is out of alignment... does it comes only when you start riding?

yeah... a pity ssdc cg125 dont have the odometer... so i am not really good at the reving and changing gears thingy until the outing when i am the slowest bike...

I'm not sure if i shouldchange my sprockets and chains.. my clutch this month seems to hav a problem.. now its harder to kick up to neutral..used to be easy.. on this 11th month this problem pops up.. thoug hof going yamaha do a full service since its going to be 1 yr in dec..
