Haha, I will only undergo surgery after I return from taiwan for atec. My battalion wouldn't let people go off so easily, unless you're dead. Hopefully by end or march or april, I can find someone to transfer ownership.

This is my checklist of observations:

1) left in the sun for prolong period of time?

2) Switch off your engine with the red "engine kill" on the right handle bar?

3) cover your bike immediately after riding?

4) occasionally have a high pitch sound from your tank?

That is what I suspect with mine anyway.

1) Yes, left outdoor regardless rain or shine

2) Switch off engine with the ignition turn to "off"

3) Never cover bike

4) Always have a sound coming from the tank when starting, but goes off after a while

Does all this contribute to the failure of fuel pump?

Bro, faulty new fuel pump are rare cases but they do exist!! Thou u installed them, did your mechanic check the circuit or wiring communicating with the fuel pump? The most probably causes of a repeated fuel pump issues are due to damage wiring or circuit itself.
