Usually i use motul 300v, but i find it too expensive as i change it every 2-3k in about a mth. Now i will switch between maxima, motul 5100 and 300v. As for coolant, i am using motul motocool factory line. I can't comment much on shop, still looking for a gd shop as well. For now, i usually visit unique but i find it soso.. So far i like motorworld the most, but they cater to the big bikes. and ppls have been recommending planet and racewerks.

Thnk you for sharing ur views and preferences bro.

You do ur Eo change every month at 2k mileage ?

Actually to me, Yamalube is if you can afford to be more atas for your bike. I prefer iPone for casual riding coz it's very smooth for daily commuting. Then before going track, I'll change to Motul 300V 10W40. That was for my R6 lah.

changing of engine oil depends on usage (mileage) and personal preference. example, i seldom travel hence i change twice a months, else i change every 2000 mileage. some of my friends whom ride bigger bike change as frequently as 1000 mileage.

Depends on user, for me, i rev my bike rather freq. thus I change it whenever i feel the engine is rough, which is around 2-2.5k for me. If i dun rev or ride it slow, of cos can change at higher mileage. Anyway, i dun feel motul 300v is lasting, it get rough pretty fast as it is pretty thin, where else maxima feel gd to me and can last. but of cos motul is smoother.

Bro,our bike is 4 stroke and the engine depends heavily on fresh lubrication as much as possible. Given a compressed, stressed engine compartment, lubricating the piston and gears with high temperature. I wont miss an engine oil change every 1500km. This always keeps my bike performance on the edge.My ride is smooth,my engine temp is always on the safe region,my gear shifting smooth and well, every engineer student will agreed that oil degrades and its always best to protect our delicate pinions and gears. I change my engine oil in Jb,a fully synthetic 5w-40 only cost me S$13. So monthly, its affordable for me.

IMO you take good care of your bike it will take care of you.i change my engine oil very 1000km. :x filter every 3000km.And my bike only feeds on v-power.and it's been a year my bike still running really smoothly even with a pillon I can easily go 130kmph on expressway. :D so I would say changing your eo often really does make a difference in a long run.

Every thousand change EO is really a waste of money lor.. Hahaha.. But well, he got money can lor.. I change every 3k. Most class2 bikers whom I know of also change their EO at 3k. Unless they go track.
