hi guys ,sorry for late reply..when i 1st got the bike it was near to 200km run.. but i thought its normal since they say they testing the engine and all sorts.

btw i pump v-power racing in malaysia since i frequent woodlands.

For the non blinking part, hehex i kinda run off the non blinking part until the odo turns f-110km so it turns to nothing. i SERIOUSLY THINK that was supposed to be normal to pump when only the fuel meter is not blinking o.0 . Do correct me if im wrong ..because since i got my bike thats what i did -.-.

Im on -2 bar today =) didn't move much could last 3 days this time since i have OT tomorrow. Move prolly 110km today nia .

110km per day could last you 3 days on your tank. r15 fuel consumption is relatively good ald. if u riding a krr i might need to pump everyday. depends on how far u travel. i believe r15 is the best fuel efficient sport bike in sg. just an advice/tip, try to pump when there is at least 1 bar left, i do it when i'm left with 2 bar. cuz r15 has quite a few problems with fuel pump and you dont wanna risk it by refueling the tank when its too low.

Add on to his sentence.. You should try pumping lik 98.. Cause Vpower is kind of petrol that clean your engine so it will burn faster oso. So mayb you should do it like 98, 98 then vpower in this pattern? Cause from myself i realize that when i use lik 98 or 95 i can go even more than vpower. I dont know what i'm saying got any wrong or not but is from my view. haha.

Actually i really got no idea whats up with ur bike....there must be something totally wrg and partially ur fault i think bro.how come ur fuel top up also can be so high for a 12 litre bike even thou u pump shell v-power ? is there any performance problem...sounds or starting difficulty faced as well ? im really curious and wondering how come ur bike can be so different and way off from the rest.

Just Somethings to share.when I was riding my r15 I always pump shell v-power too.and my avg riding speed is about 110-130km/hr.even if I keep whacking ar the lowest mileage I get is 35km/ litre sia.and the most I got into my tank was 8litres.cos I know if you always wait till 2 bars or less before you refill chances of your fuel injector getting damage is much higher.so best is 3 bars can go refill Le.and the way feifayiming's bike is using petrol like worse than my super four sia.currently my s4 mileage is like 18-20km/ litre and the max I pump into my tank is 10litres which cost only about $32?(just something for you all to compare. ;) )

I agree its mine fault, im a rough handler.

Performance problem like?

There is no starting difficulty at all.

When my fuel is empty i will post a picture to calculate the total mileage i travelled to calculate the FC.

I average 110-130km/h..on 5th gear, seldom on 6th as the acceleration is hardly noticable(loss of power) some days i will be stuck at a jam, would that play a part as well??

Fairing bike yes, but there is Bajaj pulsar you know? whooping 60km/l. Hows that? But 2 spark plug luh.. hehe!

fei: Actually I dont mind following you down to some bike shop to take a look man. Mostly to see what the shop gonna say about your case and also some kinda learning opportunity should I also encounter this kinda thing on my machine too,

About the machine being into 200KM when you take over, there are also serious risk that the bike was not "run-in" properly. Those CB who worked in the bikeshop should know about it. And that on contractual law, you can sue them under Sales Of Good Act Section 13 (sales by description) for not selling you "brand new" machine. Come on! 200km to a run in of 1000 is like taking 1/5 of the original span. Beside, 200km can go far if you consider how small Singapore is. Section 14 SGA also deen goods are fit for it's purpose. Should they come up with some exclusion clause, can sue them for Unfair Terms Trade Act section 6, 11 and 12.

Dont let those CB take you for granted.. So what we are new rider? Good business to carrot is it?

Do you guys also hear some noise coming from the front when riding? Seemed to have noticed it the past few days. It stops when idle or I have stopped at traffic light. I can't recall whether that sound was already there before. :D

awww man saw a video of leo vince on r15, and it was awesome! well gpr will do then.

Oh. You saw it? No man... Most of us here saw it and most of us with the original pipe that never change to gpr pipe is cause waiting for leo vince pipe. The video you saw is from sg but i hear is the one and onli. Maybe is illegal changing pipe also. haha.
