About the machine being into 200KM when you take over, there are also serious risk that the bike was not "run-in" properly. Those CB who worked in the bikeshop should know about it. And that on contractual law, you can sue them under Sales Of Good Act Section 13 (sales by description) for not selling you "brand new" machine. Come on! 200km to a run in of 1000 is like taking 1/5 of the original span. Beside, 200km can go far if you consider how small Singapore is. Section 14 SGA also deen goods are fit for it's purpose. Should they come up with some exclusion clause, can sue them for Unfair Terms Trade Act section 6, 11 and 12.

Dont let those CB take you for granted.. So what we are new rider? Good business to carrot is it?

but he cant do anything ald. there is no proof that the mileage was 200km when he collected unless he had a photo

hi bros. need some advice here. my bike was send to racewerk for repair. change of side fairing, the matt black piece connected to the side fairing, the mirror, the side signal and probably the misalignment that jam my wheel. was quoted most probably 600++ sound reasonable?

Haha. Can't say that man.. I go servicing and all stuff alone but never get chop le. Like i go 219 to do my sticker time i think i is not got chop. Is i making myself chop chop. haha. I will want to do alot stuff then in the end i spend alot there. One thing about going with friend is there is someone to stop you from doing nonsense. haha.

oops, i meant to spell pod and not port. err open pod is equivalent to more power and noise and it gets dirty easier as compare to close pod. both are actually quite similar. just that for closed pod, the filter is enclosed within a casing also mostly connected to pipe that runs to another location for air intake.

fairing close just at range of $30 - $50 maximum. i aren't sure about alignment, my bike was charged $50 for alignment before.

Side fairing would somewhat cost you 65 to 80 a side easily.

Mirrors I will throw in a couple of tens.. say 50

Side signal = 45

That would be some 255?

Labour for the shop should go some 40 to 50 and then spraying + labour will easily chalk up the amount.

Hard to really put down a figure since there are like quite some other things involved in all these. Jammed wheel is not small task by the way

I'm still searching around for cheaper side fairings. Need to change both sides. ):

went for a fuel top up of 11+ l

did not take a photo of it though but i have taken the mileage for the past 2 days.

Initial top up=25854 km

2nd top up=26233km

Mileage difference=379 km

Top Up Petrol= 11l

Cost/l = 35km/l

 

That is from Shell V-power (Racing not 97)

Will post again after i finished my ESSO 97(i think thats what is called) its 2.9 rm/l

 

BTW: I have went for servicing, which include;

• Oil Change($28)
  
• K+N Air filter($99)
  
• Spocket full set($150)
  
• Tuning($50)
  

 

Basically they have told me my bike is working very fine just that the spocket has sharpened, Which i have no idea that i needed a change in spocket because it sharpens because i thought that i have to wait till spocket has no teeth >.

 

Lubing of chain is another issue,as they have corrected me that WD-40 is NOT considered as lubing of tube. It causes the chains to get more dry .. So take note new riders,don't commit the same mistake as me:P

use chain lube for your chain. for me, i wash and lube my chain once every two weeks, else each time after rain.
