Which shop in your opinion is best to get? For stock I like the red one as well but I would really like to get my hands on the 50th annie edition though. Seems like its not out in Sg...

50th annie you better ask Hong Leong@ paya lebar or email them to ask but don't get from them, Hong Leong more Ex. The rest of motortiam price almost same same one leh.

Excel = if you full cash then good or not interest very high!

HLC = very friendly shop, free snow wash after engine oil change but comes to money you need ask them to clarify, difficult to ask for free stuffs. @autobay, good area.

Asphoon = heard free stuffs sure can get but their bikes all got asphoon sticker infront which i don't like. else good choice.

Hong Leong = Safe! but that time i ask around V1 price, HL quote 500 more then other shop. 0.0, free helmet, 2 oil change. same same leh~

Heng motor = no comments, that then i went, i ask about aftersales freebies, 1 guy told me free is free workmanship but oil still have to pay. i said thank you and walk off.

WingYap = Alot of accessories, i see other V2 out from there with bling bling extra stuffs but need pay la.

 

I got mine from HLC. Maybe i nego skills not there, only got 2 free oil change. Warranty is 1year or 10000km.

 

I think you will find V2 everywhere now. Pointless having V1 around, or that shop display V1 means you can go chop the price low low.

And.. You dont want freebies? Can ask from your shop when you buy then give me?

You can do so but it would not be legal. (that have to depends on your luck sometimes and all), see if LTA officer wanna pursue the matter with you.

I myself am using HID and thus far **choy** nothing la.

Pipe wise I dont think the sound would be any different to the basic one. Just a little more amplified and louder. Thats all..

Errr... as much as I researched, there is no diff between the V1 and V2. Except for..

- A small tweak in the CDI (Which to as what I've tried on one V2, no diff)

- Bigger rear

- Meaner looking (the much augmented R6 rear, mud-guard, swingarm, exhaust)

- FC is slightly on the rise pegged at full tank (1L ~ 31.5KM)or more.

 

The rest were kinda out of my league since there are just too much variables. Speed... weight.. gear ratio... sprocket.. Hard to determine bro. This is not GP, so all this statistic cannot be put into play anyhow

But those that are riding. I like to know this..

Someone mentioned that "maneuverability" in V2 is pretty bad. Is that so?

I duno what pipe is legal for r15v2.........but i think maybe both v1 and v2 is same.can use gpr i think.....its just like same bike with different year make.thats all.

Just went to check it out.. not bad too! but its abit too aggressive lols. Btw anyone using the K&N air filter, currently wingyap has a promo if im not wrong.

ehhhh v2 is my first bike..... other that the bike i use in driving school... v2 is the only bike i rode... and when i bend abit of corners my rear felt drifting out without braking. is this suppose to happen?

I assumed you have just bought it? From what i was told from a few fellow riders. Since the bike is new, the tires are waxed. Therefore for the first 1000km or so,you shouldn't corner too hard or fast. Please correct me if im wrong (:

not just the 1st 1000km but also stock tires may not be suitable for local use there for is best to go workshop which u trust to see if the tires ar good anot i have come across afew of new riders who fall due to using this kind of tires

Yeah wax is used on new tires to improve its shelf life in the store. Usually people will ride out the wax but a few yrs back when I was a mac rider got 1 lau jiao gave a tip of using normal soap and water and scrubbing the wax off with scotchbright cause for the corner of the threads its more dangerous to try to naturally wear the wax out unless super hot day. hehe.

I've ask Hong Leong before, and they mentioned that the fiery red and 50th anni v2 will not be brought in to Singapore. U can try asking them again juz to check.

My bike ar.. Air filter lo. But i not sure what brand as is done up when i buy over time. but air filter change really make a diff from stock. Mayb u look for me at fb and we can chat more there. Chia weeliang. Look for that.
