Hi folks.

I am looking to get another bike, hopefully one that can take me faster than 60kph comfortably (i.e. without the sweet vibrations that I am getting with my TW200 at the moment). I really like some of the bikes that are out there today. Unfortunately, many of them have really thin rear wheels. While I am sure that isn't a real problem on our roads, I do think a fatter rear wheel looks so much better.

So do let me know which bikes have big wheels. These are the ones I know of. Would like to see what my options are.

1. TW200 (I already have this one)

2. Cagiva Mito & Planet

3. Aprilia RS125 & Tuono

4. Honda Phantom TA150 & TA200

5.

6.

7.

8.

Thanks all!

I find my YBR quite comfortable already until 90km/h. Anything above 90km/h and the engine screams

but the r125, r15 and ybr all have relative thin rear wheels, no? going at 90kph comfortably is my aim actually...wonder what bikes can get me there...

and i'd stay away from scooters for now. they are attractive - true - but i do not have an affinity to them at the moment :)

auto maxi scoots? but as a new rider i doubt you will enjoy the auto gears. seems like u enjoy shifting gears alot.

doubt you would want another scrambler type bike cos most of them vibrate alot at higher speeds. but other than scooters, scrams and 2 stroke bikes, the only ones i can think of is cruisers.

I would pick TA200 very comfortable and crusing at 120km/h no prob...

Broad sit so very comfy for rider..

Best part super cheap maintenance...

Top overhual only $380....

This is what I experience... The choice of choosing is still yours...

Anyway rear wheel size 140/80 for me...

definitely one of the front-running options for me too...haven't decided if it will be a TA150 or TA200 though. i wonder if the TA150 is much harder to maintain...or easier?

IMO, TA200 is much easier to maintain as its a 4 stroke rather than TA150 which is 2stroke and uses 2t......

As a current owner of a TA150, i say it's easier to maintain then TA200 as it has lesser parts to replace. But most TA150s out there are rather old, 9 years or older. mine is coming to 10 years of age in a few days time. FR plate. It sure have a powerful engine. can feel the "pull" if u really accelerate. Just that FC not so good and have to make sure your 2T do not run out. It has low 2T consumption though. Since my last 2T top up more than 2 months ago, now the level still about half. i ride my bike everyday. abt 35-40km per day. Usually i only need to top up petrol once a week. If you ask me again whether i will choose TA150 or TA200, i choose TA150 anytime, reason is i prefer power over better FC. Power or better FC? Your choice.

ride safe bro and all the best in your hunt for a new ride.

are you serious? when i look at the b-bone, i struggle to think how much it will vibrate and be buffeted by the wind even at 60kph...hehehe...

Are all B-Bones noisy? Of all the B-Bones on the road, i feel they are so noisy even when stock.

or you can simply just buy any bike, and change the rear wheel and tires to something bigger..

i would recommend 2b 2strokes.

wear thicker gloves. i feel this problem cant be solved :(

Always ride safely and defensively.

Repair bike cheap and fast,

Repair body expensive and slow.

sometimes your butt gets the vibration leh from engine feedback. not only the handlebar got feedback. i recommend thicker underwear. something like mommy poko pants! (baby diapers)

hahaha! i already wear very thick gloves and have riding pants. so that is the best insulation already lah. anyway, my bike seriously isn't made for speed and i like it the way it is. just want to find a bike that is made for more speed and comfort.

those 2b sports bike can change to tires the same size as cb400 is it? that would be super nice.
