These are air-deflectors I installed on my 230cc Monster-Phantom project. They are stainless steel and I found them in the back of a hardware store here in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. I have no idea what they are for, maybe plumbing. I bolted then to the bottom of the plastic side modules with rubber in between.

No need modification if it is the one bought in Thailand.

 

If taken from a kup or something, you will need to make sure the lever does not scrape against the side of the left engine cover. Mine is bought from Bangkok, so I have had no problems with it.
