I hope this sat will be a glory day for me if i sucessfully change the clutch plate n bearing on my own. So far this is my big project on my own on the r1... I try my very best to get photo for reference or as a guide for those who which to D.i.Y. Wish me luck guys... :angel:

Haha. Yeah who knows i might own a factory sbk ducati... Wakakaka. Angan2 taik ayam lah me... :lol: yup will do it slowly at my own pace and hopefully the service manual will be my only guide.

Dont lah bro... Im so sexited to strip the clutch housing tomolo. I will loose focus sia if ppl disturb. Aniway for info, ive alr soak the friction plate, clutch plate, roller bearing (crankshaft) and bearing ( clutch boss).

Need an advice.Currently um riding R1 07 model and when I start.My idling is at 1.2rpm.I wish to increase to 1.5-2rpm.Is it advisable????Pls reply asap

 

no cause by doing so, fuel consumption goes up and wear and tear is also faster .... why would u want to do this in the first place?

Finally im done with my clutch... Removing is easy but not fixing up... As for me, i found out that first n last friction plate is badly damage. Bluish n got lots of burr. Erm having hard time to scap the carbon graphite gasket.... Overall i find it quite fun n easy to dismantle. But not to fix up.

 

I will post up some pics asap. :thumb:
