Turnout wasn't THAT great cos some couldn't make it due to work commitments. About 6 bikes turned up and a car. I'm impressed with Bro Tomsaw8. He turned up by car cos his bike's battery flat. Bro Tom, it's just a simple matter of calling a tow truck and towing it to the bikeshop to have the battery changed.

 

Those who are in here and keep harping about a meet up BUT didn't turn up due to whatever reasons, hope you all can make it for the next one. I'm thinking of a PG outing (need someone to lead, of course, cos I still can't remember the way to and back) and of course, our favourite Kulai nasi lemak outing sometime in December...

 

Hmmm PG outing will be great.... I hope its chosen on a date whereby I am not working... heheheh ... would luv to track wif u guys....

bro i think is becoz of ur akra and ypipe.. becoz the ecu cannot take in the sudden change of airflow and thus the rpm is unstable.. maybe u wan to get a pc to make it slightly stable by putting in universal map if u dun wan to do a dyno..

just wanna ask...if riding and suddenly i feel lost of power(maciam no fuel kind) den suddenly after a while i ride as per norm...issit cuz the fuel pump is faulty?

if it is...any advice on how much e pump will cost?

98 R1 is rare. Pls post some pictures of your bike.

 

On the hesitation, you can replace the fuel filter first and monitor. Also make sure that the tank breather hose is is not blocked.
