Which fender eliminator u referring to bro? the metal ones installed at the original mounts or the plastic ones dat u stuffed right under my tail, near the rear susp? For the metal one, I bought it from regina... The plastic one is bought from my fren who bought it from eBay.. Wah, where u saw my bike? Now my bike seldom on the road olready... keep it for track use only now... i bought a side bike for daily use.. Garang? no lah... so plain n black... where got garang leh...

 

bro phudz, one more Q. after you changed your LV fs, what else did you have to do? aftermarket air filter + pc + dyno run?

 

remember previously my s4 was sputtering and stuff after switching to a yoshi fs, had to do the above, only it was with a jet kit.

 

would like to know the costs involved, so i can decide if its worth the switch, thanks!

 

Yeah bro ... After I installed the FS, I sent it for a dyno run to tune the whole engine system... But prior to tuning, I do have after market air filter as well as PC3 installed....

personally, I've never been to kulai as well. i'm game for weekdays but i think the rest are only free on weekends.

Who informed you that changing piston will solve your problem?

 

Any white/blue smoke emitting from the exhaust?

 

Try roll on with other gears too. If only 1st gear has problem, then it is most likely gearbox related.

Could be your valve tappets. Have you done your valve clearance yet?

 

40000, might as well do it and get your tensioner done too. 'Cos when you open up that top end, you'll also get to find out what is wrong.

no smoke...ony the *clink clank* sound. other gears ok only "sometimes" moving off from 1st gear. does it got anything to do with the clutch plates? cause i changed the plates b4 ard 8mths ago i think.

 

clink clank sound is normal if u move off in first gear and dun rev it enough. Try going at 60-70kmh in gear 6 and open the throttle wide. If it produces the same clink clank sound, means theres nothing wrong with ur bike. just wack the throttle.

its not those didnt rev enuff sound bro. this is like metal hitting each other...but it didnt happen often. only sometimes. nvm i will get it rectified when i visit the bikeshop one of this days.
