Hello. I have another question to ask. While riding my r1 at whichever transmission gear, if I open the throttle slowly, there is no problem. But if I open any bit faster, my rpm will shoot up to 7,8,9 or 10 but there is no effect on the speed of the bike and only revving can be heard. Does any bro know of or have encountered this kinda issue before and can advise me on it?

 

besides your worn off clutch plates, if your clutch cable is too tight meaning that there is no free play, it can happen also

Guys any experienced riders free to help me inspect my bike....i need to make full use of the shop warranty... hehehe... drinks and makan will be on me... :D

2005 - 2006 = Honda NSR SP 150 - [FU 5**0 A]

2006 - 2011 = Honda RVF 400 NC35 RT - [FR 1**8 Z]

2011 - 2012 = Yamaha YZF R1 '07 - [FBD 5**7 D]

2013 - 2016 = Yamaha YZF R1 '13 - [FBD 5**7 D]

2016 - ???? = - [FBD 5**7 D]

Psst go ask for new E.O, oil filter, spark plug, brake pad, haha if possible ask new set of sprocket n chain. Still under warranty rite. :lol:

Yeap. Thanks for the help!! I got it fixed alr. Was due to the aftermarket clutch being too tight. Thanks alot bros!

I tried asking but they didn't give. Lol. Not easy to get free stuff out of the shop with warranty luh...

Yeah bro Wat u say is true...they will lie to u that they change n stuff at times... In my case I asked them to wait for me to come down n see in person before they start servicing but they did it before I went down... Grrr... Hate e integrity of some of the shops...

totally agree. i think it might be because we're still on warranty and they dont earn thats why they dont wanna do it for us! but the fact is that we paid a hefty sum of interest as well as the amount we paid for our bike to them. sucks max.
