So guyz juz be alert.. try not to bring handbags.

you guys wanna go jb have to be more street smart. holding handbag exposed to others while riding is like asking them to come take it from me.

if handbag is a must, then by all means, wear a jacket and keep the bag outta sight.

same goes for those wearing pouches, keep it outta sight by wearing a jacket.

well its no surprise to the conditions in m'sia these days. how the people not corrupt if the people in power for example the cops are corrupt as well? just take a look at the recent busts by malaysian anti corruption unit, they actually busted the higher commands of the malaysian customs and retrieved millions of duty unpaid items as well as contraband and cash. i myself have been frequenting jb on a regular basis for the past 5 years. frequent as in 1 week 3-4 times. heres what i've heard and seen so far

1. snatch theft - they ride side by side, and kick you off your bike. while you are groaning in pain on the floor, they scoot off your personal belongings like wallet, hp, handbags etc

2. snatch theft - i've seen personally a malaysian 125z with pillion chasing a super4 at fullspeed with a parang.

3. helmet theft - there was a period of time when malaysians would actually rob singaporeans of their rs959 helmets, maybe cos its cool i dont know?

4. snatch theft - in broad daylight, my friend's mum who was sitting pillion on my friend's suzuki 750 bike became the victim of snatch theft right outside citysquare at the traffic light, the mum fell to the ground. passers by helped her up and my friend gave chase. eventually the thief dropped his self skidded his kup kia outside shell. thats where my friend beat him to a pulp with help from the malaysians at the nearby bike shop at the shell there when my friend told them he stole from his mum.

5. helmet theft - we all know how fond the rempits are for arai ram3 helmets. but they're getting bored of the common arai ram3 in gunmetal color. currently, the craze is for the rare/weird colored ram 3 helmets. what they actually do is these kup kias will actually box you in, and 1 of them will come up to you and taze you with their stun gun. now while you are there lying on the floor having spasms from the electric jolt, they just take a knife and cut your helmet strap up. they don't really care that there are cars right behind them. cos why? nobody gives a **** over there.

malaysia boleh! rasuah boleh! incest boleh! jubo bole! semua bole! makes me sick of the malay muslims there.

note to readers. i am malay and im not proud of the idiots across the causeway. even though i have relatives there.

Thrash? Don't mind if i do.

Good sharing trasher, thanks. Helps people be on their guards at all times.

Try to go in groups and if not then try to use an old simple helmet, and don't carry obvious purses, or bags.

When I go JB on my own, I never stop at the traffic lights in the front. I always stay in the lanes like a car, and I tend to stay away from other bikes -mostly for safety but also to not be seen as an easy target to reach.

And I may be paranoid but from the SG customs, I pay very close attention at what bikes surround me. Who is following me and if a wave or other type of bike has been around for a while, I stay alert. Once in doubt I even stopped at a busy petrol station on my way, to shake a bike off - could've been nothing, but I didn't want to take risks. Saw bikes from SG stopped so I stopped there too and waited for a while before continuing.

Also if I only need to pump, I always favour Tuas checkpoint: not only is it usually faster to go through but it's also safer IMO.

A friend (girl) got snatched while riding and injured last Sat morning while riding after the MY customs on that narrow road out of the customs approaching the Shell station. They took all her belongings and left her with a few fractures.

Everyone be alert and do not carry anything that can attract attention or envy..
