There's a WorldCrosser kitted S10 that Looi's brought in, but not the real WorldCrosser.

 

Unlike the GSA which is in production, the WC is a limited edition and if I am not wrong its limited to 600 units and the little red dot doesn't get a share.

I think the most obvious thing to check for the real deal is the rear fuel tank. Something that cannot be duplicate easily.

Love the exhaust man.... The angle makes it darn aggressive!!

 

Real WC comes with rear additional fuel tank hence its also a single seater.

But real WC is only a concept or sponsored race bike correct me if Im wrong.

 

Most of time, those already OTR, are just kitted WC replicas..

 

& for the record, WC is based on 2011 models, hence there's a diff in the colour codings against 2012 models.

From my past understanding this 'real' wc was designed by the europeans to inspire aftermarket manufacturers. It is not a production model. Only after many many interested opinions that yamaha decided to produced the wc kit minus a few stuffs like rear fuel tank, blah blah blah...

 

Correct me if i am wrong.

price tag $31-32k..

 

insurance differs depending on exp, NCD, etc..

my age 31 and above with 10 yr exp...... roughtly around much for the insurance.....

If u getting from dealers they'll have a list of insurance pricings based on your age and riding experience. And different insurance companies have different pricing as well. Just check with the dealers.

 

S10 OTR without insurance as BP mentioned is probably $31-32K depending which dealer u go. HL was selling $32.4K w/o insurance if I recall correctly in June with COE bid price at $1500.

Jokes aside, same as u, me now riding adventure touring bike so I'm actually more looking out for touring jackets. And just gotten the S10 & spent a fair bit getting new goodies for the bike.. But I'll seriously consider ur jacket.

High beam blue LED was flicking on/off throughout the rain.
