Used to be $10 at LAB but this is a long time ago. IMHO..original is slightly 'thicker' and quality finished is much better, the chiong ones lloose fragile. Anyway..bike drop, both also sure gone.

hey wondering. do u guys actually warm up ur machines in the morning b4 u head off? or just start&go.. for me. im the lazy and time saving type. so i just on and go. is it good for the bike? but normally i just low rev ntill the bike is warmed up.

im sure everyone knows start & go without warming is bad for the bikes, bad in what ways, maybe someone can elaborate on that.:cheeky:

yup,as for me,i usually warm bike for at least 5mins before i got off; just wondering are there better ways to do it?

Otherwise,if im rushing for time,i will keep my rpm at 3-4 for a min,and just peh and go.haha:thumb:

I think it would be good in general to warm up.. however i am lazy and usually i dont.. if you dont warm up for few mins, start off slow before whacking it would be better..

anyway for my leaking coolant on the left side of engine, its solved! thanks to ah pek special formula sealant! :cheer:

will continue monitoring just to see whether everything is going well! anyway ah pek so i will just wait for about 2-3weeks to look at the side coolant area whether the level is still half full right?

Thanks for the help! btw not sure if its my psyco effect, i felt that after rinsing the pump and etc my bike more smooth :thumb:

Just got the chrome "cups" from LAB a few weeks ago, cos there's a crack in mine. It is $14 per piece if I remembered correctly. Should be chiong type, but quality pretty ok. Was quoted much higher price by bike shop

LAB my favourite accessories shop. :thumb: spec3 headlight, chromed casing, white light bulb, signal lights , signal light bulb. all from there.

Yah..do check your reserve tank for the coolant level..it should drop sort of but not way down below the last level or dried up. Just top up to the near top level will do till things settle.

Smooth is mainly because of the Valve cleaner added to your tankful. Try X-1R mixed with my blend..its 3 times more you gonna get . Yes, your bike should run cooler now and engine is less rough.:)

hi guys, planning to get my hands dirty and flush my radiator. any tips/recommendations (e.g. pocket-friendly brands of coolant, flush using....? i've read on how to remove the fuel tank, so that's set. only need to know the nitty-gritty details on how to flush it, and what to look out for. and of course, not forgetting how to drain it. hahaha.... any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers,

also, advice on the amount of items needed (e.g. coolant, distilled/battery water if necessary and the items needed to flush it. i've read some ppl use water and vinegar. is that advisable, or will it have any adverse effects on our bike? if ok, how much should i pour? sry to shoot off like this, but i think i'd enjoy getting my hands dirty on my own bike rather than just relying on mechanics... you'll love the bike more rite!
