Hi pek, only change clutch cable.

 

May be ur clutch plates r wearing out liao..I won't know till I see it but any honest mech in any shop can check for u oso. Changing new clutch cable doesn't help a worn out clutch system.

hello, can PB1 exhaust b changed?or mod? if so where? help?

 

You can do anything u want even change and mod to use a Harley exhaust but I suggest you asked LTA first.

Very new to s4 here

Was wondering for Super 4 version S

 

a) Wats the rough estimation price for changing cluth plate?

 

b) How does we know WHILE RIDING that the fan is auto on and working when the engine is hot?

 

c) Wats the price for original side stand?

 

d) I'm going to buy a new horn....Which shop in Sg let us test to hear the Horn b4 buying?

I'm going to buy a loud horn but not airhorn, which brand u can recommend?

 

e) due to old age, my bike neutral gear light is too dim in day time(bkoz the glass cover is not trasparent any longer), can be seen only at nite,

what should i do?

 

f) Wats the best or usual setting of rpm?

I mean> when engine is cold, start the engine the needle normally should go to less than 0.5k rpm or lower?

after riding , when the engine is hot.... the rpm needle should be wher? less than 1k, more then 1k or more then 1.5k?

Oh, that's not so good news. Clutch plates sounds expensive...

met with ahpek, got my speedo fixed cable replaced and got ah peks engine oil, bike feels very smooth and pickup is great...very friendly and explained everything in detailed...really worth time and money.:thumb:

a) Wats the rough estimation price for changing cluth plate?

Should be around 80-90.

 

b) How does we know WHILE RIDING that the fan is auto on and working when the engine is hot?

After you ride for a long time, stop for awhile and place your hand near the engine block area. You should feel "hot wind" on your hand. Or, switch off the engine switch. Should hear the fan sound.

how much is the blu horn? im using stabel magnum and it sucks man... sld have used hella

 

Go Mustafa...4th level..$20 only for a pair of fcking loud Hella all weather horn. U wan nicer bigger and louder..they have a bigger one in red.

Oh and also someone stole the cover thing at the end of the swing arm to adjust the chain place! Idiot thieves! is it dangerous riding without it? and how much and where can i find a replacement?

Finally got my Version S out =)....Only thing concern me is the rmp & Chain...

 

RPM seems unstable...It will hang ard 1.5-2..like the engine breathless no power....keep up down even i wait till engine warm...Only notice it disappear after i go for a ride n pump in alot oil then it will idle at 2...Is it normal?..i asked the shop he told me some full system story n is normal to be like tat..bt hard to believe...Need to do some adjustment to the carb?

 

The Chain also seems wobbling n noisy when i ride...Chain seems new n nt lose...I ask to check on the Sprocket will do?..is there any stuff to look out for?

Let me share with you what I use to lock up my bike when I go touring. 1 metal chain to chain up my bike to a freinds bike, cost less than 10 bucks at Mustafa. 1 disc lock with irritating alarm on my front disc brakes, cost less than 15 bucks at Mustafa. Added security, 1 wireless remote alarm got from a friend at $20 bucks.

When I feel sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead. True story. Hehe :thumb:

Idling at 2k rpm is too much. Ideal setting for our climate is 1.5krpm when engine is hot.

Bro, get ur bike to a good mech and have a random check on it.

Perhaps u can try bikeworks @ kaiki bukit, I believe he shld manage to solve ur problem.

Ur carb might need balancing as well.
