Hi to all. Can I get an opinion on super 4 PB1?

 

I am looking at a PB1 from. A bike shop. The shop quoted 3.8k COE till 2016. My concern is this a good bike cos honestly I think the bike is still in good condition. But since I am quite new to super4 so I dunno what would happen if I were to get a 16 year old bike. Pls advise! Thanks. Getting this as a short term ride

Pb1. Good bike. My uncle own it for est 15 years now. Had done only one top overhaul with top block replaced as well as its pistons. Wear n tear.

 

Route to mersing with a faulty rear suspension. My younger fren on his spec3 could not even catch up. Hehehehe of coz this boils down to the rider. Pak rempit wins.

For this price..be sure to asked for a two months warranty against coolant pump and engine block coolant leakage coverage...generally anything pertaining to problem in the cooling system. Also oil leak at engine block due to gasket in top and mid block. Also make sure they covers any electrical faults..like magneto coil is charging properly at 13.5v dc to 14.2d dc.

Oic. So it's susceptible to all the cooling sys problem? Anyway to check the bike? Like all the potential problem as mentioned. How to check for tell tale sign?

By the way how does PB1 compare w the ver s or ver r?

Pb1 has sliver colour engines and a stainless steel 4-1 exhaust system.

 

Ver r has front cowling

 

Ver s hrm. . . Nothing unique I suppose.

It depends u want to do a top overhaul or just overhaul.

Different shop charge differently. Go around and ask a few shops before committing.

As good as "BAD"...go get it replace! Reading should be 14.2v dc...13.5 to 13.8 is about half life.
