u know if the error can be clear off besides using the tool? ie like disconnecting the battery

 

If you disconnect battery, the error code is supposedly cleared. But if the error is still there, the error code will be registered again when you power back.

 

I think the code should be flashed in to the ECU rom. Hence it is always store inside the ECU even after you off the bike. The proper way to remove the code inside the ECU is by the Suzuki diagnostic system. I don't know about other ways.

due to lack of experience and knowledge, I visted several shops and total of S$300/= to get front callipers in great working condition better than before.

 

Always check with the mech 1st as I realised that busa calipers is a problem to rebuilt and bleed.

 

just my few cents...

Completely agree with you! I overhauled my calipers TWICE within 1 week.. Fellow riders out there, pls be careful of the shops that u're gonna service ur bike at.. Some ignorant mech will act as if they know but end up jamming up ur calipers with new piston seals.. Spent MORE than $300 to get my front brakes working..

 

Sorry to hear about your bad experience.You learnt through the hard way like me before

Finally i did change my sprocket n chain after soooo long. Its been long since the 1st day till juz now. Total of 81,000km+.. For nearly 6 years... Awesome..

 

Wow 6 years!! Thats really awesome.. mine already 3 years but i doudt it will last as long as yours..

N i wonder wat kind of brake caliper can i change to from 6pot to 4pot. Using gen1 tokico 6pot currently. Possible to get direct caliper rather than using bracket?

 

I using gixxer k6's caliper.
