Was riding in the rain yesterday. Lots of lightning and thunder.

 

Onces there was a series of them then suddenly one of them strike . Vision became white for a few sec and i felt my left hand got some jolt. Which i reacted by pulling my left hand off the handlebar.

Did a series of things bro... I got list down earlier in this thread... Forgotten some of the things already.

There's a filter like thingy inside the fuel pump which will clogs up thus causing stuttering of the bike.

July 2006-21st Aug 2007 :Honda NSR SP (FS1029R)

Any bros here install a aftermarket coolant temperature meter(ie koso).

 

Wondering where to install the sensor....thermostat housing or inline hose.

 

FYI mine's a gen 1. Anyone?

Stock gauges has a very high variant so the change must be high for a concrete deflection of the needle. too late by then

 

whereas aftermarket meters are numbers that will reflect minute changes that otherwise u won't notice in ur gauge cluster needle.

 

i'm just a worry pot. =]

 

and yes i'm wierd. hahaha!

lokey- if uu know ur a kinda person that worries alot, ii suggest uu dun put a digital thermometer. u'll freak out everytime the number increase. Then uu wont be concentrating on the road. thats dangerous. just check ur reservoir once in a while. change ur coolant avoid small creeping slow traffic u'll be OK!! buy voltmeters and gear indicators instead abit more useful.

2013 im nt that sure.. all ii can give is my bike is abt... hmm o_O 30k++ i THINK, bought in 2011 from Teo Spray. but im paying 25k++ because ii COI in 2012.

Won't freak out la. Just used to knowing my parameters.

 

Easier to spot impending issues with the info from the meters.

 

Volts and gears taken care off. Thanks for the advice!

Digital is more accurate and precise in comparison to Analogue. That's one of the reasons perhaps

Majority of the newer models including speedometer are digital

Wah..thot of buying a fairing frm ebay too..some idiot hit my bike n nw my head fairing break..any idea local shop does aftermarket fairings?

Cheapest option, would be to mend it with fibre followed by putty and respray that portion if possible that is
