I drive and i ride, believe me, bikers with their headlights on are more visible on the roads especially in the side mirrors and rear view mirrors.

Daytime Running Lights?

Yup. DRLs

Deux ah , for car right , unless its factory fitted , all others who put and on in the day is considered illegal.

I've fitted on aftermarket rear indicators that has integrated brake lights in them. Stopped in front of TP and ROV/LTA bikes. No issues.

For front facing lights, if they're white, I don't think they'll have issues with you.

The problem comes when you have them colored.

Day 3 of wearing a high visibility vest full time when riding and I'm tempted to suggest it as standard riding equipment as well, especially for newer riders who are not so on the ball with regards to situational awareness.

Drivers will make a point to keep clear of you if you put on a reflective vest, even refusing to turn out in front of you even if you're a hundred meters away. Not sure how I was -that- visible at night but hey, it works, and only costs $3.90.

Many cars now have illum meters which also lights up during the day..

ie Toyotas..

There's so many a times i need to horn a Toyota on a expressway to tell them to on their headlights..

some get it, some dunno what i am trying to point out..

I tot white light wasn't allowed, only orange can?

I find white lights kinda "glaring", orange light more comfy to the eyes.

When I stop behind other vehicles at night I will turn off my headlight to avoid blinding their rear view mirrors. I will remember to turn on the light when I move.

I have rode with some others who annoyingly love to high beam my mirrors when in convoy. Stern warnings were given when they almost cause accidents.

It's worse when the HID-equipped ones keep flipping between halogen and LED? modes thinking it's fun.

To riders who think "Singapore so bright, no need bike lights"

These riders are not too bright themselves. :)

Same category as those who ride without mirrors. Probably brains too small to figure out how to use mirrors.

Avoid these jokers.

Yes, I don't feel safe riding without mirrors. Personally, if it makes my bike look funny with things sticking out, I can live with that. The point is that I LIVE.
