it's the secondary throttle valve actuator STVA. That means that yr secondary throttle valve actuator, the signal is not send to your ECM.

 

However, being a gxsr, there is a fail safe mode. Meaning you still can start and run yr bike under minimum performance even thou yr STVA failed.

 

So in yr case, the bike STVA is fixed to the closed position for the fail safe mode.

 

ask the motortiam mech to check for the STVA lead wire, coupler, should be connection loose.

all give different comment... some told me is the auto choke sensor... some told me is the secondary valve... dunno which 1 2 listen to..

 

both are correct. The STVA(secondary throttle valve actuator) controls the fast idling or so called the auto choke when we start our bike cold.

HHHHEEEELLLLLPPPPPPPP..... my bike is coming out smoke after i 15 min ride on the expressway... smoke is coming out from exhaust after i cut the engine... strong burnt smell... i only travelling ard 100km/h and my bike temp is abt 96 when i stop... can someone tell me why???

my k7 1000 also running quite hot leh.. go customs @ woodlands if i idle there.. wah 95-100 degrees. would have gone higher if I never off engine push.. Is this normal not?

normal, for my 750, the temp once reach 103-105, the fan will come on, then u can feel hot air on yr thigh, n temp will decrease... fan will on/off. if i nv remember wrongly, u only need to switch off yr bike to let it cool down once the temp reach 120 degree.

Idling at 95 - 100 very good already.. :thumb:.. coz mine ard 105 - 112.. i always off my engine over at checkpoint.. even 1 bike ahead of me.. :) ...usually when very slow traffic.. temp ard 95 - 100..

ken.. my k9 1000 if go woodlands custom idle down there also same temp as u.. i think is normal if u say yours also like tat.. my temp is range from 99-105.. when hit 100 can hear the fan blowing liao..

2002-2004 ==> CBR 150R

2004-2008 ==> S4 Ver S

2008-2010 ==> S4 Vtec 3

2010-2012 ==> GSXR 1000 k9

last time while riding my class 2a bike i ever encounter smoke from exhaust i bring it to shop and they say its my piston dunno urs is the same or not maybe it is best u bring it in to shop

white smoke when bike hot most probably piston. but ur bike considered new for such shyte. get it checked out bro.

White smoke normally water pump oil seal broke... Tats where white smoke come out. If black wif lots of wet carbon mean ur piston ring wear off mixture of eo n petrol...

 

 

This sat will be my glory day for me... With both my hand n ten finger plus service manual as guide, im ripping off my clutch n replace it with the new pack plus abit of checking on the throttle body... :angel: hope every tink will go smooth n hope no hick up...

white smoke can be piston or cylinder bore. anyway, make sure u rendam the plates for sometime before u put up.
