throttle body is the thing that open and close for air intake when u open throttle or shut throttle. more air bigger fire more violent piston up down. wen the o2 sensor sense more air, the ecu compensate with more gas to get the pre-set air & fuel ratio.

fuel injection is a kind of method to mix fuel n air. main difference is FI force the atomized fuel thru small nozzle, while old skool carburetor rely on pressure created by intake air.

Eh actually I don't really understand this air intake thing

First where does this air come from? The air that go thru the air filter?

Second does it means that more air means more power and also higher fuel consumption?

Third so does that mean that throttle body is the one that carry out the fuel injection method which is aka the fuel injector?

Sorry cos I really interested to learn more on FI bikes in fact I'm not very familiar with carb bikes carb working system too haha

its been so long...

-yes.

Second does it means that more air means more power and also higher fuel consumption?

-yes. if u use a race filter, tat allows more air, the ecu will compensate with more fuel to get the correct air fuel ratio. hence more fuel consumption. but yr bike wit more air feel more powerful hence u don't need to throttle so much and can also save fuel.

Third so does that mean that throttle body is the one that carry out the fuel injection method which is aka the fuel injector?

-No. the throttle body is the one regulating the airflow from the action of yr right wrist.

Sorry cos I really interested to learn more on FI bikes in fact I'm not very familiar with carb bikes carb working system too haha

-we are all here to learn.

Icic so in other words throttle body regulate the air and passes on to the fuel injector to mix with fuel to create the power?

Also, for throttle body servicing, under what situations should it be serviced?

hey guys if you want to get the pre-load adjuster, those like stars with lots of colour, my advise don't get it, it's more of a bling bling part than a adjuster. it's quite x oso.

best to get those mech use one, wit the T joint, cheaper and ALOT easier to use.

Ezier 2 Use  The Star Like thingy is fixed on the Fork itself so more convenient 2 adjust mah, dun nid 2 carry extra tool ard. Its like goin Tracksetting & Rd setting can ezly b adjusted. But then again tats juz Me. Also agreed a bit on the BlingBling Side also :cheeky:
