Seem like the tear and wear of gxsr 600 is on high side. does the 1000 have the same rate as the 600?

hi all, i have just taken over a k7 600. While the exhaust is stock, i understand from the previous owner that some "mod" has been done on the stock pipe. Now it sounding super illegal even at 1-6 rpm. If kana caught by LTA, good game already. What can i do and which shop can i visit? I don't have spare cash to change the whole exhaust either. hahaha looking for a budget solution.

Jus go to ebay or some scrapeyard to get a stock 2nd exhaust n will solve ur prob. jus the endcan will do as the header is straight through, or get a st legal slip on n go for inspection.

K7 600 has a rectangular cat between the silencer and headers. Check whether is it there. If not, it has been de-cat.

The keyword is "race". Not many people can make it to that.

 

Race.....of course not many people can make it but for those who cant make it ..it doesnt come easy ..when they race, the put in their blood ,sweat and tears...thru my years of racing for more than 20 years on and off i hav seen alot of sacrifice this rider put in...there are alot of reason why people race not only for glory but also..for fun..for the love of the sport..passion..making frens..keeping fit..etc..etc..everybody start slow...nevermind wat people say...juz give it a shot....Unfortunately there's always a first time for everything..

There is bro...why not....there will be a race next week at johor circuit 16th Dec ....suzuki k5 1000 racing against zx10..bmw s1000 cbr 1000 ..rsv4.r1...do come down ...and give ur support to our local bike scene bro...there are also supersport ...supermoto 450cc and below....production bikes 400cc and below..150cc and below races...this will be the final round for 2012..

Yes it will be illegal unless you can get the local agent to provide the cert and install letter, and then go for inspection. Better just buy locally if legality is a concern.

I think should be a good fit or some slight mod using earlier GSXR1000 exhausts but why would you want to do so?

Stock exhaust is fine. there wont be any diff.

 

if u r buying some st legal aftermarket exhaust online(ebay...) from another country eventhough the brand is legalise here, it is a illegal exhaust

I dont think its e exhaust.. Maybe something got to dow ur catalyzer.. Mayb previous owner has empty e rectangular box, empty the cat.

Hi everyone, I've recently got a 600 K4. Trying to look for the service manual. I found one at gixxer forum in PDF format but its scanned images. Just wondering if any one has the proper PDF file with text and be kind enough to share?

i passed my emission test last week. I saw some old run down vespa giving out black smoke also pass emission test. I did mine at Vicom kakit bukit

How about Fri 6.30-7.30pm at Labrador Restaurant and Lounge? Plenty of space to park our bikes within view.

2. Eat, drink, tcss for awhile

3. Compare different exhaust notes (don't think will disturb anybody there), look-see-look-see each others' bikes

4. Discuss a date for PG track

5. Measure suspension sag (this is for me but if anybody is keen, we can do. Need at least 2 persons, preferably 3)

6. Go clear carbon (doesn't mean we break the law. You can maintain 3rd-4th gear 6-7krpm and not exceed 100kmh).

juz got myself a K7 600 last month, COI from a fren... im new to Suzuki honestly... previously riding an R6 06...

few questions i would like to ask here...

 

1) went for an oil change n my mechanic said dat my K7 is a "limited edition"??? is it true?? got such thing mehh? mine is blue n black original paintwork...

 

2) hv a little problem wif cornerings.. bike is rather "stiff" at slow corners... y ah? wheel n cone bearings ok lehh.... first time riding a bike wif damper... is it bcoz of dat? haha... =P

Outing was cancelled due to bad response. $500 + any other mods you have( they will be anal ) $200 after appeal and more expensive fines the 2nd time around.

I have a Yoshimura full race system without the valve(i believe)

I called them and it was a ridiculous pricing.

$2000 for my gsxr 1000 01 meter + the cables because it came as a set.

yes. u r rite. if u wan cheaper deals, online but it will be a matter of trust. if u wan confirm original item then u pay more n go back to agent

If you just want searchable text, I can run an OCR over it. I doubt anybody has an original PDF like the K6 version.
