Honestly, since i bought my GSA, the only offroad she's had was thru a plantation trail in pontian, and a long muddy, gravel road in Phang Nga.... Tanah Merah seems like a challenge.... and i'm pretty keen.

Even number Servicing are usually more expensive due to the stuff they have to change.

 

for 10k ~~ $200-400

for 20k ~~ $350-600 or more

But they say they got check valve clearance.

I wonder how they checked without draining the oil.

they will change the gear oil but not the shaft oil..

Diagnostics still have to go to PML.

Any other services, M-Teknik still can do.

Papa's GS is the sports version ... it's called GSS the only one around thus the unusual servicing price ...

Only you understand why it is so... i am deciding on a much slower bike next.

For Laos, Mr Yem Paul loves that place so much. Especially on the way to Oudom Xai. He keeps thinking of revisiting that place on his RT.

for 300 u can get a normal gps. put inside a zip lock bag. voila, there u go. waterproof.

hodaka used to sell tibo motorcycle friendly gps waterproof too.

for garmin , im using nuvi 500. theres zumo 550 and zumo 660.

my friend just got beaten up by a group of Singapore BMW riders on the way back to SG on NSHW..

He was driving then, he is also a biker..

 

the grp was assuming that he endangered the grp's safety while he drives pass them.

I'm not sure abt the full story, but a grp of riders beating up a defenseless driver is totally un-gentlemen like behavior..

 

a police report had already been made..

just hope that SG police handle this case properly..

 

no offences to any of the BMW riders here, just to highlight the matter here..
