@garrickchoww: Block out all unnecessary distractions n concentrate more on ur 2B. $ can slowly earn mah but momentum difficult to gain back if u got to skip pracs for work. I tink nw juz focus on ur lessons. Aft all, No.1 priority is to get ur licence. No licence means no ridin. Got $ oso no use coz can't buy bike.

 

Armed urslf wif knowledges by visitin sgbikemart. U wil need it when ur day comes! Dun juggle too many tings at once. Try huggin 4 watermelon in ur arms, sure drop 1 of them lor. For ur RTT, 3-4 RTP before it shud b gd enuf liao. Careful of ques playin wif "numbers". Otherwise, b surprised by the ease of answerin those 50 ques. If u did ur practices, passin is a GUARANTEED!

 

Tat SP is an ok deal. The maintenances n fuel consumption may burn ur finance. Dun get me wrong, i nt tellin u nt to buy but buy carefully n within ur comfort range. Juz follow ur heart but tink abt all these n dun bleed ur wallet dry. Take ur time to choose lah. U wil noe it when ur fated bike speaks to u. Look at the estimated payables for ur 1st 6mths.

 

1.) Confirmed 1.5-1.8k: Insurance, Transfer fee.

2.) Possibly 1k: Piston, Engine oil, Spark plugs, Tires, Spockets, Chain, Lube, Brake Pads/Discs, Cables, Batt, Electricals, Suspensions, Handlebar, Cosmetic works, Helmet, Raincoat, Season parkin, Cashcard, Coupons...

3.) Mayb a few hundred more: The mileage was nt stated so duno if a top or full overhaul is needed.

4.) Mayb $XXXX: Coe to b renew in Sept. B prepared if it stil cost 2.5k or even exceed 3k by then.

5.) Less than $150: Vehicle inspection, Road tax.

Yeah i know sp kills on the petrol and maintenance haha...but it just looks so nice T-T ...maybe if i get the finance i might get it.But sometimes cub seems not bad also Those like R1 ...Rx1.

Sgbikemart is my daily bread like that lol..everyday go see n see n see even though not buying..haha!

 

But i thought COE only close to 2k?They raise the price again? Wa den quite sad lol. I heard before got extend 5 years want?

anyways, i understand that 5.02 needs to be cleared and with RTT passed then can take PDL right? but 5.02 only lasts 1 mth..shoot..that means take now, also will expire..haiz..i should have chionged the theory lessons first!

yeah..that's why..the RTT date too far away liao..cuz when i took the prac, the closest RT lesson still far away..i didnt know the Theory test date so far..that's the problem with sequential work..

Haha same thing bro. But hard for one to go for only theory...then pract..unless e person can tahan not gg for practicals which seems super fun + interesting.Lol...Tahan bro..mean time take it as a short holis from bbdc! Haha..i left like 3 more weeks..

yup..i used to think i'm in a rush..but now with the situation like that, i relak liao..haha..but of course, it would be good the sooner i get it! nothing beats a personal transport that are less sensitive to traffic jams. =)

Hahaha! No lah bro. I meant its more logical to spend $$$ on bike necessities. The conveniences n freedom reaped r so much better than relying on the unpredictable public transport these days.

Anyway, I just passed my 5.02 this morning! (like finally on my 4th try T.T)

But so saddening... The next TP date is 11 May and I am enlisting to NS early may... Sigh. Was hoping to get license before enlist >

noticed that 5.02 is only valid for 1 mth? that means it's very shiong..need to clear 6.01, 7.01 and 8.01 within a month (minus 5 days before TP test?) and not forgetting there's RTT (if applicable)? is this true?

No la, you just need to clear RTT within that 1 mth.

Ohh no luh, the 5.02 is valid for 1 mth for u to apply for PDL. meaning within the one month u need to clear ur RTT and apply PDL
