hmmm... ya, i believe gtr is more common than zx14r in spore. my preference is more to sportbike, hence zx14r is my choice.

 

anyway, zx14 is a big n heavy bike compared to r1 n cbr1000rr etc. i'm not sure whether it's practical to ride in spore traffic condition. any idea?

Two different cat of bikes.. ZX 14 is a beast from stop to go on str8s compared to sportbikes... Practicality for sg traffic condition is subjective... Once u know her, LS is a breeze... Fyi i use Akira 90% sg 10% up north... So far no prob.. N zx14 wud b better coz no side panniers attached unlike gtr...

Ya, zx14r is king of sportbike... Its a hyperbike. But i hate its exhaust, super big n hideous (2012 model). If i buy tis bike, first thing i will change to aftermarket slip on.

hi guys, i'm contemplating between a Busa n the zr14, its been years since rode a kawi bike and friends who swear by kawi bikes, then mostly tourer ( FJR n Sts), been always a fan for speed .

Hi, have been riding zzr1400 for 6 months now, super smooth n very easy to ride for a big bike. Went up north during CNY, super comfortable. Just had a tank bag n a tail bag for my ride up. Never had the same experience with other bikes before. Cool....

But i can suggest u go looi motor n ask mr lee. They got bring PI zx14r in. If i'm not wrong, price should be around sgd36-40k.

I am in the mist of waiting for my new ride but already start sourcing for accessories. Maybe these informations might help,

 

1) Race fairing - Ebay China one. As much as I don't like it, there isn't much race fairing offering from reputable brand.

2) Exhaust - I believe you can get almost all brands from Unqiue or your usual bike shop. Legal one I know are, Akra, Leo Vince, Yoshi and Scorpion. Akra is the nicest I've seen as well as the most expensive. Think scorpion is cheapest.

3) Windshield - MRA and Ermax can be found at Motoworld. Puig and Zero Gravity from Unique

4) Tank bra - Motoworld

5) Headlight protector - Raceshield from Juzzwheel or Ventura from motoworld. Others aint sure.

6) Slider - R&G from R&G Singapore. GSG slider from online. Puig from Unique(??). Aint sure about Motovation or Equipment extreme if they have for this model. Maybe can use the previous generation ZZR slider. No need to drill. But I have did some search online and found someone broke the frame mouting due to the slider. Therefore I am looking at Race Railz from Power Stuntworkz (online).

7) Top rack if you are interested, can get buy SW motech from twisted throttle (online)

 

I think it covers almost everything. Feel free to add to the list if there is any error or more accessories.

Quite a lot of good info...well I do normally go to unique in toy guan but I didn't know they carry zx14 items.even in their www there is nothing abt Kawasaki stuff.
