guys..need help

How does a Suzuki DRZ400SM K9 - Japan Domestic Model differ from those sold here? Parts difference or anything that is very abnormal from the usual one we see on the road?

Much appreciated..

It's a sticky already!!!

Hi guys..

Just to share that I sent my ride in to Mr Raptor yesterday for some TLC.. Was totally satisfied and never had someone take care of any of my bikes so well in the last 10 years.. My girlfriend even mentioned that she thought Raptor and myself had known each other for years cuz we were talking like brothers.. It was the first time we met actually.. So kudos to him and I would recommend his skills to anyone out there..

Ok best..

There should be a washer attached wif the drain nut, change the whole nut if washer is missing

There should be a copper washer or a rubber O-ring for any EO inlet/outlet..

Thanks guys.. Another question.. Why is it that some of the drz have that cricking sound when engine braking at higher rpm? Mine doesnt.. I dun think its a problem right? Just wanna find out more abt the drzs...

Its an aluminium crush washer.

Most likely the mechanic who drained the oil did not notice it dropping into the oil container.

The other worst scenario is.. its been overtightened till the frame housing is split open. That's the price you pay when the mechanic does not make use of a torque wrench but his arm power to tightened the oil drain nut.

anybody have any idea wer to get alpina rims for drz? and price range as well? Thanks!

Biketech21 sells it.. Price is abt $2k..

You still need to pay for labour to take out your stock hubs to spray, and lace it to the Alpina spokes and rims..

Down time of 3-5 days or more..

Else save up a bit more to get Marchesinis..

Direct fit, no spacer or worn wheel bearings issues..

Your bike, your choice..

Almost zero maintenance compared to spokes..

No down time..

Plus it got more resale value..

Yes.. wallet will feel the pain, but definitely much better than Alpinas..

They are also tubeless like Alpinas but zero maintenance when coming to Marchesinis..
