CBF150 is also an economical bike what... Why you wanna change?

You change to a Spark, and you think it saves you more fuel. But then you already lost a few hundred bucks trading in your CBF.

LPPL. You probably need to ride the bike 3 years to realize the fuel saving difference between the 150 and 135, cos you lost that much money trading it in.

So what's the point?

I use for a month...

I prefer fuel economy bike like Spark 135,Yamaha Fino...

i travel 22km Daily to work and back from work.

i spent $14 for fuel each week...

Thats $2 a day on petrol. If i'm correct cbf Gives a similar 30+ km per L as spark n a fino. And has a tank for comfortable commuting.

spark has lower fuel consumption...

TS, if you don't like it. Just change it. Why put yourself in a dilemma ?

Life is short. Just enjoy it :D

I'm riding CBF150. My consumption is about 42+km/L. Other have been getting 45km/L or higher. And I travel about 100km a day Monday to Friday. Plus the CBF has a 13L tank. With your current usage, I believe you don't have to pump petrol weekly. You can pump once every 2 weeks. For more info, you can check out the CBF thread.

what the speed you are travelling at? CBF150 should get you 40km++ per L. it a fine bike.

my spark give me about 56-60km/L. but it annoying trying to pump petrol every 2-3days due to the small tank.

I suspect something is wrong with his bike's fuel efficiency.

$2/day. 22km/day. About 22km/l? Doesn't make sense.

Yeah. The only thing that stopped me from buying Spark (or cubs) is the small tank. I'll probably have to top up petrol daily. Just stick to your current bike.

One of our riders who changed his carburetor to Yoshimura Racing Carburetor and with other modifications (racing CDI, open pod airfilter,LV exhaust, etc) still managed to clock about 400km before hitting reserve. Something is really wrong with your bike. Maybe you'd like to share this with the other CBF riders in the CBF thread. Anyways, FYI, main tank is 10L with 3L reserve.

My bike also look like uncle bike. "What's bothering you", can be controlled. As long the damn thing can move can already. If you got money and is bothered by your bike, go and change la!

I don't have the option to be bothered because i don't have the money to get another bike. Yet. Haha.

Good reply. It's individual perception. What may look like an uncle bike to some people may not look like an uncle bike to others. If you got money, it's all your choice.
