stwb1981 - bro why didn't you consider the baggers before you get a bird? Haha, I'm sure the comfort you get from RKs or Glides would be great with hell of an attitude to travel too.

cougar - there're quite a handfull, twins performance, autobay, sunburst, sumsoon, sunhog, sanfu, kustom builders.

imagining it in the middle of the night when its very dark and a harley slowly moves in the carpark.... the slow badadada drum solo of the harley would be awsome

so awesome your neighbours will call the LTA to report you on your screaming eagle pipes. harleys with stock exhausts are not very loud, it is the owners who fit on illegal exhausts and piss everyone off.

The sound of harley is nice & classic...

I agree that there are sum idoits that install pipes tat are way too late...!!!!

if parking at multi storey car park, I believe got to be considerate to others... unless living on private property that another story....

Also TOO loud pipe = no performance...

Personal view is that too loud for show...

My khrome werk slash cut exhaust were meant for race usage but nt too noisy 7 irraiting... nv kana complain or bike kana disturb...

I always believe in being more considerate to others...

Respect others & rest will follow suit...

Cheers!!!

You can always ride a Honda :p

the thing about Harley is that their chrome are ridiculously tough. compare to a japanese bike, which just doesn't match up. But engine wise, i trust japanese.

Does it go? - No

Does it corner? - Gasp

Does it stop? - Hahaha

Is it expensive? - Let's not go there

However, if we choose our rides based strictly on rational reasons, we will all be riding Honda Cubs and UJMs.

PS: Is a $110K Honda Civic worth it?

Then like that I disagree, loud pipe saves lives and performance over neighbour peace and quiet. Then again loud pipe on harleys don't really make them any better.

But I try not to rev too loud da, in any bike, like dragging gear 1.

Harleys dont get noticed for its speed.

Neither does noisy cubs and two strokers get second looks because of its sound.

With that price tag and branding, everyone knows you're not using a harley for "transport only" purposes.

You're a gem on the road.

Its triple chromed and thus the bling.

If riding is a journey and not a destination for you.

Get it.

Arrive in class.

No offence to anyone. Just my 2 cents.

Whether Harley is worth the price tag, I guess TS is the best person to define that. If you can afford to own the bike comfortably and like the bike's road capability, then it's worth it.

Have fun shopping for your new toy!

ulysses the honda civic is the best in its price and capacity category. In its category it has the best reliability, one of the more powerful engines, good design, probably the best interior and its interior is also the most spacious. So yes it is completely worth it.Still, personally,i would rather pay a little more to have a honda crz or a volkswagen scirroco as their designs, power and i think mpg also are much better.

Hope the advice helped!

Chill dude. Everyone has a different definition of worthiness, be it a Civic or Type R or Electra Glide.

Point is, do you need someone else's approval for your dream?

Owned a Harley at aged 23, many friends told me Harley ain't for young dudes. But I didnt care and haven't regretted since. I owned a sports bike and a motard before, but I've rode my Harley much more than the previous 2 bikes. Don't know why, Harley can't corner, can't go as fast as class 2 sports bike, can't play humps and curbs. But still, I love riding the Harley. IMO, when you buy a Harley, you're also buying your lifestyle. Tonnes of accessories to play with too. No offense to bike lovers of other class.
