A ride to caution

Dear fellow forumers. I'm posting this as a caution note to everyone riding, taking 2B or any other class license to take note of.

Around 11.15pm just yesterday i had an accident due to self skiing at second link nusayaja exit which some of you know it's the U turn to go back tuas. Be wary of the bend during turning as i fish tailed and fell off my bike due to the wet floor.

 

I am a P plate rider and i just got my bike 3 weeks ago and already my whole faring broke into pieces. Heart breaking and now i have a few flesh scrape and a torn muscle so im trying to warn people to be careful of that bend, especially during rain. The trip was unplanned and the rain just came right before we hit the checkpoint. It was my fault for going too fast into the bend and when i realised i can't turn much or i would skii so i applied my brake and clutch so i freewheeled and fishtailed into the railing. The whole faring just cracked except for the part behind where the pillion seat was attached.

 

A note to everyone. Don't rush even during rain thinking that you'll avoid it faster, it will just make things worse.

And don't corner dangerously when the floor is wet. I learnt my lesson.. Just to let you all know and watch out for that bend.

Thks to let everyone know n sharing... At wet corner will skip when brake too hard or jam brake. Best is to add on the engine brake by not dis-engaging the crutch..

I believe you are riding SP, your tyres are really small, you shouldn't even corner!

I wanted to down gear using engine brake to slow down but i was too late.. so when i disengage the clutch and brake i was already late.. ):

Your sharing is a very good advice to all newbies especially handling corners on wet roads ...

 

Just a thought .... profesional riders will do otherwise in tracks, experienced riders learn from others back, new riders dont say what the heck ...

Fav place to play down there.. At least 15 laps to destress lolz !!! Some say its dangerous n some already tasted e railings n i knew a busa whom had its whole front "detached" from e body sometime ago.. Wateva it is, dun underestimate e road.. U might have a good bike n u might have a good skill but e road dun recognise both
