That's what I dread. I'm using modular Helmet at the moment. Thinking of changing to ff soon. Most f the times ride with contacts but inevitably will ride with specs once or twice.

Some of the helmets comes with slots for spectacle wearers.

The new Shoei is one of the model.

Else a flipup is also good alternative but if the legs of your spectacles are the thick or very angled type, then it will probably give you a literal headache when you wear the helmet.

Seriously??though I think the reason for that is more for sunglasses than for specs. Cos flip ups still have that flimsiness about them at the hinges.

I using the Shoei X-11 which is comfortable even wif glasses.

Needa test other helmets to ensure it fits the glasses.

Flip-up helmets no issue but definity heavier & not as rigid as full face helmet

I am using shoei too. Recommend you go to shop and try with your glasses. Good if you can test helmet with glasses for at least 5 to 10 mins

Depends on what spectacles you're wearing, I wear Oakleys but those models with rubber sleeves e.g Whisker, Wiretap were really tricky to put on & off as the sleeves keep on sliding. Currently, when using my fullface, I wear the Offline model which came with plastic covered handles & was easier to put on/off. Even Ray Ban Wayfarers are pretty good specs for ff helmets. I find it weird that Oakley, a brand famous in the motor sports industries, have yet to come up with a pair off ff-friendly specs. At the moment, I have a Shoei X11 & Arai OW for touring & an Arai V-cross & Arai MX-3 for off roading. Otherwise, my SZ-F open face works for me on normal days & even on short trips. I don't trust contacts & I would've gone for Lasik if I was at least 5 yrs younger. Hope this helps.

To be honest... my spec wont "sit" on my ear when I'm wearing FF (comparing to normal spec wearing position). But yes, you shd be able to get ur specs on.

Just one question for FF helmet wearers, when you choose size, do you choose one when all the padding are pressing on your cheeks or one where the paddings just lightly "rest" on your cheeks.

I'm not very big head but I've to wear "L" size FF coz it feels more comfortable, just wondering if its too big?

All the FF is the same.

U can ask 219 or auntie to re-construct the inner cushion. So you got space to slot in your specs.
