Hi guys, just curious, can 20w-40 mix with 20w-50? Coz right now I am using the Mobil 20w-50 on my pulsar. So if I mix a small amount of 20w-40 with 20w-50, would it have negative effect?

 

I saw a bottle of Castrol 4T selling at $8 only. So thought of getting it as a spare EO for topping up.

Motul 300V 10W40 / 15W50 Fully Synthetic Engine Oil

 

anyone has use this yet? is it good?

 

because i'm using OWS 900 Synthomax Xtreme 100% Fully Synthetic Engine Oil

and it sux haha...

 

planning to change to the motul but must see feedback first..

OWS doesn't produce good EOs nor spark plugs. Tried both, and frankly, it's not on my shopping list anymore.

 

Now waiting to use the 4 quarts of Amsoil 20W50 that I just purchased.

Yeah, OWS put too much additive into their engine oil. Once you stopped using, the engine becomes superb sluggish. Like a drug addict suffering from withdrawal!

I just change Maxima 4-Cycle Motorcycle Specific Oil

15w50 Extra - 100% Synthetic..... base on this spec and density...

 

what are the advanages? any diff from 10w-40?

i change engine oil about once every 2 months.

 

I used to use maxima extra 50w then change to ows 800 40w, the bike feel lighter and smoother.

 

Then use maxima again.. zzz give up.

 

Now just change to use motul 300v 40w, not bad leh. almost the same as ows.
