Dun tok **** la... It's supersingle or supermono, started with intention to replace GP250 2 stroke. scrambler engine in sports frame.

 

Scram have very close gearbox ratio and final gear reduction geared for pickup. Change that and the engine will have good top speed performance like any road bike.

raph's not totally wrong. imo scrams being single piston would definitely have more pickup / less top speed compared to a 4 cylinder. i.e if both haf the same gearing ratio.

 

disclaimer: i might be wrong.. dun flame me. =)

my insurance for my blade is 498 by ntuc..juz tried calling mitsui up,their quote the best $1350 for 3rd party!!!

 

i heard mitsui quite ex right?? why u never buy from AXA.. my spec 1 ins about 550 for 3rd party from AXA..

AXA for sports bike is above 22,used to be above 20..

I think you are right in a way but srsly it wont be a boring category really (ie, slow). And i correct my statement, it is Actually a scambler Frame + Engine, bolted on with road going parts. Which explains the weird tank but just imagine it as a drz with better suspension for road and fairings. Really kickass if u ask me.

no1 said it wud be a boring bike ma.. raph merely said it has no top speed la.. anw it wun matter bcoz in the track u wudnt be needing so much of the top speed aso.. to be fast on track, u'll need to brake hard into the corner and exit the corner with the throttle wide open aka better exit speed.. b4 braking hard for the nxt corner again, etc.

 

actually it wud be an eye opener for a single cylinder bike running on sportsbike gearings. the single piston burst and the high gearing ratio which allows it to rev up more. interesting.. :cheeky:
