Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

hey guys.. anyone knows where i can get used FZ1-N headlamps?

Its just the headlight alone, without any fairing..

I can sell you mine...... but then, like that my bike will not have any headlight... Hmmz... I probably better keep it.

I think it will be very, really hard to find a used one, unless someone did a N to S conversion. :angel:

Try ebay? If you really keen, you can try to get from automachinary or Hong Leong. Cost around ~$400, according to a guy riding Hornet 900 who did a FZ1N headlight conversion.

What is the idling speed?

Should be around 1200rpm .

when i start bike normally it will be around 1200 rpm but after awhile it will drop to 700-800 plus rpm!~ :(

 

anyone here can share with me the soft copy manual for fz6n 06 or roughly tell me where is the rpm tuner at!~ :(

fz6 ideal idling rpm should be between 1.05k to 1.15k rpm...

rpm tuner is at the left side of the bike when you sitting on it, quite near to the gear lever bar (duno wad it is called) and near to the frame...

u can see there's a tiny cross screw look-alike there...

was quoted fz1n 2010 model otr 20+++ by republic motor. is it abit expensive ? and i got qn bros , gen 1 is 09 model and gen 2 is 10 model i assume ? if it yes, what are the main diff between these 2 gen ?

Set the rpm only after bike is warm,manual should state abt 1250-1350rpm.

Be warned! The rpm will be quite high when the auto choke is on warm cold...

Past rides are already history....

Current ride: FW VFR 800 ABS

Gen1 is before 06...Gen2 is 06 onwards....

Past rides are already history....
