1) Exhaust Servo motor.

2) Airbox bottom portion(the one with the air scoop.)

3) After market or stock front fender(mudguard)

do not use autosol on your headers.. once you use it, you have removed layer of protection.. yes your header will look nice after you polish.. but you have to keep using it very often cos the layer is already gone.

i use meguire metal polish as well..

 

Any remedy to recommend after using Autosol cos that was precisely what happened to me.

Around 90 bucks each from automachinery rowell rd. Cheaper alternative would be from Ebay

Is your IU tapped directly to your battery? And did you leave your cashcard in your IU overnight?

 

Yes it's is but no cashcard. Just charged the battery today at hong leong n ride back there to check through. No bike for 5 days as have to leave there for them to check. Does the new iu drain batt.?

Autosol is definitely a NO NO.

Hi! Guys,

 

Wondering those riding FZ1 2010 having this problem or not?

Whenever I put side stand, locked the steering and park the bike, I get this one click sound from it.(Most of the time)

 

Whenever I passing a hump, once over also will get this click sound.

Should I get my front fork check? Any recommended shop to go to?

yeah i am having the same sound as well, not only during parking, sometiems when movign off also will have....

 

i still cant figure out where the sound comes from....pray that the front of the bike wont fall off >.

the slim IU will drain battery as it does not contain its own battery unlike the fat version.

Just got back my bike sooner then expected. It was the iu. They route to ignition switch so iu power only when I on bike. But now my iu spoilt. It does not read cashcard. N. Just say "on". Now have to go inspection

Yes enjoyable but burn hole in pocket. Just to n fro work 7 dollars gone by mrt n. Bus. Pump 40$ can last me 270 km or 10 trips work n. Home

I also have that sound problem coming from front fork whenever pass the hump..sounds like from the fork. Think we all should go and send to agent for checking. mind still on warranty hopefully they don't charge me anything.

Hi bro, this is wat I did to my chain..using 4T and Toothbrush to scrub the rust. Rust won't go off immediately though. guarantee ur chain will last. I have been doing dat for the last 3years.

Anyone riding FZ1 had their valve clearance done?

At what mileage did you guys went ahead and did the clearance? 40K as per manual or more?

Also, how long did your stock chain last?

 

I am thinking of getting both done as the current mileage is about 47K and seems to be running a bit rough.

 

Please advise.

hmmm.. i dun think anything that's within reasonable financial means can be done.. unless of cos you want to change the headers.. stop using autosol lor.. get those fender extenders to prevent water, dirt etc from contact with your headers.. and start using stuff like meguair's metal polish..

Dude go mustafa buy this rust remover called RP7. Few dollars only. Green colour can. Spray over rust area and u will see how effective it is. Can scrub wit brush if got stubborn rust. After tt u can start ur polishing.
