Hey guys,

Can anyone provide a ballpark figure for Monster 1100 Evo pricing at Minerva? The last time I went down was a few months ago when I was keen on getting the 848 Evo - but I've been smitten with the Monster fever - so kind of deciding between the 3 models as the pricelist I have with me only have the pricing for the 696 and 796.

If you can't post here, could someone perhaps PM me on the Monster 1100 Evo price?

Thanks!

Class 3 = 02/07/2002

Class 2B = 24/04/2008

Class 2A = 22/12/2009

Class 2 = 10/02/2011

How much does it cost to change the timing belt? Any idea if Gerry Looi does Ducati service?

Welcome, the belts will cost ~$100 plus whatever your mechanic charges for labour. You can get aftermarket belts from the US, else everybody in singapore will take their belts from Minerva.

Loois do sell ducatis so they should service them as well.

Hi fellas, haven't posted in a long while.

@blackreplica.

Long time no see. After I sold the '996' monster to u, I bought an Aprilia Tuono R and did some trackdays on it. Got tired, sold it and regretted it since.

Itchy backside, bought a 2001 996. Stripped off the fairing, slapped a fatbar on it, changed the headlights and made a monster out of it. So, here's my 'new' monster - The Beast from Bologna.

Hows it going Daniel! Long time no talk! Mike told me about your bike and its fantastic to see a pic of it! Great work! Am in the market for a new duc but slowly taking my time to find the right one as i plan to keep it a long time this time. Never forgave myself for selling off the bike you sold me. And from what i hear, the current owner wont sell over his dead body...haha. So time to find something new. Im actually eyeing a 916/996 as one of the possible options. I'd probably rip every possible engine component out and replace it with kickass components like i did with the M996 if i ever got my hands on one though which would be massive fun.

Hey Bro, thanks!

I don't think I got time for meetups. Busy with work, kids, school and bikes.

Yeah those are my customs, but I don't think I'll be chopping my Monster tho.

ebay is a site where ppl sell their stuff. no reliability issues with ebay but i cant say the same for the individual sellers

have a query, whats the ride comfort like for a 6 foot 1.8M tall guy? afraid it may be too cramp

I'm your height exactly and have always found monsters very comfortable. I'm assuming the ergonomics of the newer ones are similar to the older ones i have experience with though

Hi Kevin,

Good to hear from you again. My beast is sorta a work-in-progress. Which is good as I usually tire of a bike once it is complete, haha. I still working on a bikini fairing - didn't like the 1st one I made. Also thinking of a couple of other changes.

Hope you find a bike you like. Myself, I have the hots for a new Multistrada. But it would be such a waste as I work on a bike more than I ride it. Besides, the bike is already perfect - nothing to change.

Cheers.
