any bro wanna accompany me go malacca on 6th Aug 2011 (sat) one day trip. i go up to visit my grandmother in law. just a day trip. acutally got buddy go with me but too bad Aug is the mth of malay fasting not very safe for them to go since cannot eat food lata faint halfway. haha

guys, i have encountered this problem when i wanted to change our rear brake lamps to led bulbs..my ABS lamp flashing. i immediately change back to our normal 5w rear bulb, and the ABS flashing gone.anyone encounter before? care to enlighten me?

 

btw i try 8w bulb for our rear lamp, it works as well,brighter or not i dun see any diff,same volt reading as well..

 

Yamaha bikes cannot use LED bulbs for the rear. This is due to the way the bikes are designed to draw power. The ABS is drawing power from the rear light. Not enough power will malfunction the ABS giving a uniform blinking. Don't flame me for this. Its true. Ask any mechanic who does YAMAHA bike. Hope it helps.

Will check with the shop how much if I gonna get the original silencer, if cheap, mind as well buy another pair then cut the length..easiest way out..

 

Hi Guys, been a while since i came online.. Hope everyone's doing great..

 

Since u guys are in the LTA topic , i wanted to share an incident with u guys.. i was stalked by LTA at upper thompson road 3weeks back.

althought i saw him coming , no way to siam.. so i didnt resist. he stopped me for my LV pipe & despite producing all my documents he drag me back to STA for inspection. (removed both baffles from my LV pipes)

 

plz take note tt the reason he tarek me back is because LTA comms back n said they got no trace of my pipe's inspection back in 2009 even though i had the documents to prove it! A**ehole!! i had to take half day cus of that..

 

Once there.. he 'registered' for me & left.. upon inspection STA fellows told me my details are not in system and they'll have to redo inspection again.Then they informed me of the silencers and i'll be sent a notice of offence in due time.. within 1 week, the summon came.. it was 500$..

i appealed to LTA and ended up paying $250 for it. & i've also been noticing a lot of LTA/TP bikes on the hunt these past 1 month.. God knows what's happening!!

 

i hate the sound with the silencers in.. miss my old sound.. i also thinking of buyin a pair of silencers and cutting off the length.

can i have the shop name n no plz?

Plan to move off singapore 7am go in first stop gp esso pump and shoot up next stop pump will be pagoh and rest smoke drink pee and move off to melacca.

 

reach liao say hello to ah ma and rest a while chat chat, dan afternoon i will go exprole melacca in cab park my bike in ah ma house hahaha ( this is if i go alone i dont know the place so take cab to exprole lo)

 

moving back to sg will be around 7 or 8 pm same route back.

 

its more of a free and easy trip. =)
