unless u're using aftermarket endcan (clamp band type), cos after interchange header, stock endcan bracket hole slightly off.

i was wondering, ignore the legalities here. i was wondering, anybody shortened their exhausts before? cut and weld to make the endcan shorter? got any power difference? what about long distance? i was wondering how its gonna perform during touring mode, noisy definitely but what about fuel consumption and speed/torque?

 

somewhere along the lines of a chopped up yoshi endcan?

I think can be done. You have lesser restriction at your end can. Another way is to decore your stock and run a straight through pipe with holes and fibre packing.

different pple will recommend you different stuff.. end of the day its what you like..
