Track session was great today! The DNA performed well, the straight stretch only managed to hit 104km/h, not enough! Have a feeling that if a Malossi CDI and multi Var was there, I would be flying!

The bike is very forgiving in cornering, I found it quite stable in the turns, and could really go down to a nice angle. Alot of the malay uncles there say it was because of the thicker tires, and automatic transmission. No need to worry about shifting gears, just close the throttle, go in, come out, and open wide!

I might go for a few more sessions, as certain parts I am not confident, namely, turn 3 onwards, spiderman should know, it is the part where you are going up and around a hill.

Cheers!

:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: The FIRST (supposingly) DNA in sgp to enter a track?? haha. But anyway, nice to know you've got a great time there.

Stock DNA can only do about that kinda speeds on a 700m stretch I suppose.. ha. Anyway, ultimate top speeds for the DNA on a long straight is 128km/h only.. So a 104 on the back straight seems ok la.. Actually its fart slow.. But no choice.. haha

172R>> How to compare to 2T runner sia??? man.. The 2T's accelraltion's so much stronger and crisper.... ha!

Honestly, ya, I find it too slow, when I was using my stock exhaust, I managed to bring her to 128km/h on a straight slightly downslope stretch, and possible to hit that on the second straight, but the GPR exhaust really messed up alot of stuff.

Hitting 9k RPM is not a problem, I just can go faster then 9.5k RPM and I am only hitting 104km/h.

Cheers

That is an idea! He he, time to find someone with a milling machine! Anyone up for Pasir Gudang? Spiderman got me addicted just by being a spectator!!!

Cheers

Pls note that it is not a simple affair of just milling, all rollers need to be dynamically balanced.

Anyone know where to get a good paintjob done? It is about time for me to sell my DNA as Class 2A is calling...

Comes with Goodies.

Alarm system with remote alarm and helmet bay release switch.

Autoguage Voltmeter.

Mikuku shock absorbers. (Posh shock extenders included but not installed)

GPR after market exhaust pipe (titanium colour)

Brand new set of Michelin Gold Standard Tires.

Malossi Red Sponge Air filter.

If you know anyone wanting to buy a Gilera DNA, give me a buzz at 91072797.

Price is firm at $3500 (with paint job of your choice), or $3300 with the current paint job. Bike is 3 to 4 years old, I am the 2nd owner. No scratches or damage to the bike.

=====================================================

Reason why I am not putting it in classified is because the last time I did, got alot of idiots expecting me to be the "Gilera Agent". With warranty, financing, etc.

Ok dude..... first of all, Vios is damn light for it's class. For the right side of the car, taking the driver's weight into consideration, it should always be slightly higher in terms of ride height. So you can set it like 0.5cm or 1cm higher, depending also on the rebound rate you set on the Teins.

As the car is a front wheel drive, it has inherent understeering charateristics; making driving easier for the novice. Under hard acceleration, the car tend the squat backwards..... as such, the REAR should be set harder than the fronts. And the ride height differences from the front compared to the rear, the rear should be higher too; but not that high.

Hope this helps...and as usual, one free drink for SpecialC. Till now, I have yet to get my free drink from Mr Stroker aka Model Killa!!!!! :giddy:
