The availability of practical lessons for 2A at cdc is actually not bad.. The first available session is only 2 days away.

Registered for 2A. However the waiting time for TP is 2 months......is it really necessary, efficient, for driving school in a developed country to do that ?

Bikes aren't the main cause of heavy traffic.

Bikes aren't the main cause of heavy traffic.

go write to LTA and TP to complain. the main reason for the long wait was bec the change of their tp test 1-2 years back. few years back the circuit can have a lot of bikes at the same time. now they change it to fewer bikes so that more eyes are on the bike.

And since they change to this new system for their TP accident rate for bikes have drop, until recently the accident rates 2014 has increase alot especiallly fatal accidents. those fatal bike accidents in jan and feb 2014 cause more death than the whole year of 2013. I bet they will change it soon again.

Actually i feel one bike in circuit can apply to 2B.

But 2A and 2, they should be more flexible and allow the multiple bikes all at the same time. This group of bikers have a bit more experience.

Seriously what's so much difference between 2B/2A/2?

Olden days once you pass, means you eligible for all classes.

Why not apply this to car as well then.

1000cc, 1600cc, all cc.

gonna apply for 2A soon after passing 2B in 2010 since my 2B bike is expiring soon. how's the circuit these days? Any major changes? :)

I think the government is targeting motorcyclist . I feel they wan to lower the number of motorcycle on the road by making it hard to pass TP and ridiculously waiting time to go through the course. And also reducing the COE quota for motorcycles.

All the stuff they are doing seems to be discriminating motorcyclist.

And the weird thing is the government seems to support cycling, there seem a rise in bicycle accidents in news. But they did not reveal the statistic.

Hi everyone. I just passed my 2B TP on 16/04/2014. As I am still a student, I don't think I will be getting a bike as of now.

However, I think I might be interested in getting Class 2A license. Is it going to be tough if I pass 2B, never ride for that whole year, and take Class 2A after 1 year?

[i'm thinking way way ahead lol only passed 2 days ago already thinking of 2A]

You will just take longer to pass 2a compared to someone who ride everyday for a year. Taking 3x more lessons than average (for example) will be cheaper than buying and maintaining a bike for 1 year haha

2A is generally easier than 2B - not just because of the experience a rider acquires in 1 year, but also because the test is circuit only - fewer chances to make mistakes.

As rijac mentions, you will probably take longer to pass compared to someone who has been riding for a year, but particularly at CDC, where the class 2A bikes are 250cc only, it should be relatively easy to get your 2A - compared with the other schools where you would have to learn on a heavier, more powerful bike.

And some people are more talented than others. :) Were you good at your 2B circuit? Are you confident and relaxed throwing the weight of the bike around in the figure 8 and slalom? 2A will be a breeze then. :)

The lessons more expensive I think. If you do 2x 3 plus revising and testing maybe 500 or less
