usually I'll let the bugger bang me if I'm riding slow and there are others around to be witness and ensure he won't run.But it was midnight and there were few vehicles around and also we were travelling above 100.One bang to me = jB roasted bbq meat for your chinese new year dessert.

Having said all i said, today while riding I was being nice and riding slowly in the rain on slowest lane in relax manner. Two cars cut into my path to make a hasty exit. They tried to exercise soft lane change but it was still a hasty exit. Me blood pressure was going up and thought of accelerating ahead and shaking a fist. Dissolved that bad thought and minded my business on a safe route to my destination. Its good to be in control

 

I should have paid more attention to those buggers approaching from behind as i near exits. Guess the downpour affected my concentration and visibility. Its ok, I learn

these few days rain coats are a MUST. anyway, did anyone of you saw the dead dog on TPE yesterday morning near the IKEA exit? the same area this morning, a TP on a bike was standing on the road shoulder. me and my colleagues thinks that he's there to stop dogs from jay walking. haha

2 stories

 

1) This morning at 10 am, my colleague was driving out from a merging lane at Farrer Road (towards Holland V) when a Comfort cab cut us off within the merging lane. Good thing my colleague managed to avoid hitting the taxi and when we reached that major cross intersection, he got off the van and told the taxi to wait for him at Holland Road. The taxi obviously didn't want to talk and made a u-turn and drove off

 

2) When I was riding along Dunearn Road about 10.30 this evening, outside the old NIE, there was a lane that's block and I almost hit a car in front of me 'cos it stopped so suddenly. I managed to countersteer away from that lane and was quite close of hitting a lorry in the next lane!

 

Good thing I didn't hit the lorry. If not, I'll be finished

anyway, i saw an R1 hit an uncle along serangoon road towards PIE this afternoon. the rider immediately rendered help to the uncle. i couldn't stop to give a hand as traffic was heavy and my friends were pissed for making them wait an hour for me. hopefully the uncle is ok anyway.

That's the thing about having a driving job. Always on the road. Sadly, today's encounter isn't a near miss. It's a hit.

 

Was driving my mum's car from Clementi Ave 5 to Ave 2 when I hit a taxi in front of me. This one was my fault. I was still looking at the traffic on Ave 2 and I was moving too! So I was obviously not looking in front of me.

 

I hit the taxi on the rear right fender and my mum's Toyota Corolla was smashed in the front left. Headlamp gone.

 

Obviously I was tired and it was about 4.40pm when the accident happen. I hadn't eaten and my mind was elsewhere when I was checking for traffic.

 

Will send the car for repairs on Friday. My mum wasn't pleased

dumb me forgot to bring along my renewed insurance and road tax. also forgot to tie my open face helmet til i road a dist and had to stopped at bus stop to fix it.....darn i must be dreaming or what sheesh....

lol was riding home yeseterday from camping, on PIE there was this 2 indians in a nissan sunny tailgating me then high beam. I can't even see the lousy hi beam that the sunny emits until I look into my mirror(it was in the day) then I just went in between and past a mercs and bmw on 2nd & 1st lane.

 

Noticed the indian driver even tailgate the mercs and high beam both the mercs and bmw z3 driver...bad choice

today, sent my gf to NYP and came back, successfully avoided ERP, longer route though...(it was 8:00am) from AMK to whampoa my home..
