..along BKE towards CTE/SLE, was surprised to see a stationary TP car with blinking lights on lane 1. Upon slowing down, I notice a fallen tree branch further down the lane. I was thinking if that thing had fallen on a rider.. Then a few metres ahead, a truck was stationary on lane 3 and sadly, a phantom bike was lying down right in front of it.. I couldn't see the rider though, hope he is allright and safe..

haven't lane splitted yet, i still don't think i am skilled enough, bo bian guai guai stay behind car and smell the nice exhaust.

Anyway needless to say i use the bike's stock horn, and not those STEBEL MAGNUM icecream..... i mean horn.... so the sound is not so irritating... eeek eeeeek eeeeeek!!

This is quite normal la, nothing special.

Just like this morning on the way to work, CTE to AYE lane 1 almost very clear, but lane 2 and 3 alot of car. Don't no why, huh.... don't care, 90 ~100 moving at lane 1, "very the clear....":cheeky:

Why? Their cars are unlike the normal police cars. Their cars can track our speed. If we're directly in front of them, they can detect your speed.

 

Most likely if we overtake the TP cars, we'll have to go beyond speed limit to do the overtaking. And when they detect our speed, we'll get a 'nice' letter from the TP.

 

In this case, I would rather be guai guai. Worse for me, I'm seeing their cars everyday. Why? The TP headquarters is SO near my workplace.

Well, i think if the car infront of you moving at 70 ~80 2 lane on express way, you over take them at 90 ~100 on lane 1 then move back to lane 2 and keep within speed limit, they will not send you love letter. But anyway it make no difference.

But i notice some TP can trap your speed even they are infront of you. Well, i maybe wrong.

yes, TP WRX are able to track/capture your speed either from the front or the rear. saw the sensor/radar at the rear windscreen while i was at the rear of the WRX..

 

some TP diversions are equipped with both front and rear, not all.. was at hong leong the other day and as usual, a whole row of diversions were there for servicing..

 

had a good look at the bikes and spotted the device on some diversions, but not all..

 

so just becareful..

 

i think 100-110 on express will not constitute to speeding. anything over 110kmh surely will kenna ticket..

i saw that too! but i was on the other side of the expressway. first, i saw the blinker of an ambulance. then, i saw the phantom at the side of the road. i saw lots of cones along lane 1, i thought got construction or what until i pass by and saw the big tree branch falling at lane 1. with the ambulance being there, i guess the uncle riding the phantom is damn unlucky.

rule of thumb: ride slower than TP and you won't go wrong.

went out just hours ago to marina square.. happily riding down nicoll highway until i was reaching suntec convention..

 

UNTIL 1 CAGER, dark blue red-plate SGS lancer SHOOT HIS BLOODY CAR OUT FROM THE SIDEROAD AFTER MIDDLE ROAD / NICOLL HIGHWAY T-JUNCTION INTO LANE 2!!!

 

horned and high beamed, waved at that bugger while taking evasive action to lane 1 to siam him..

 

that stretch only had 3 lanes before splitting into 2 lanes turning left to marina square and 3 lanes straight to esplanade area..

 

as i was heading to marina square, i had to filter back to lane 3 before ending up at lane 5..

 

no vehicles, i was the 1st vehicle, i looked back and gave him 'what-the-hell-you-doing' wave.. he quickly drove over to lane 4, 3rd vehicle in line.. i pointed at him, you want to talk, you come out..

 

dismount my bike, on my hazard light, and had a shouting match for 2 green light cycle..

 

he got the cheek to ask me what speed i going, i told him my speed has nothing to do with you shooting out from minor road to main road, and straight to lane 2. you got balls, you take down my plate and call TP down.

 

shout until pedestrain at junctions all looking.. the wife and son/brother came out and intervene, ask me to let it go and kept apologising to me.. what the hell, the driver kept pushing the lady while she was trying to restraint him.

 

my helmet was on, gloves with carbon knuckles was on.. i was ready to take him down anytime.. but i didn't.. i want him to pull the punches first, but too bad he didn't..

he called me ball-less for not hitting him, i rather be ball-less at that situation than to be a dumbass and start a road rage first. he happily took down my plate, i cheekily told him, dun copy wrongly.. i will be waiting for your letter from TP..
