Again i would like to remind all new riders that this is the incorrect thing to do.... pls do not try this on the road.... unless you can take a punch or two. :nono:

And if the guy happens to punch you .....

Again i do not condone hooliganism on the road.... Just ride safe and be safe. Leave A in one piece and arrive at B in one piece.

Heh heh, that I did, rode along side and looked at the passenger, but I know he can't see my face anyhow, wearing FF, no effect. Maybe I should paint venom's teeth onto the helmet.

Didja try to open his door for him? Bad thing about chasing cars to talk to them, they can take you on really really long excursions. lol.

You guys know that there are a55holes driving cars on the roads as much as there are a55holes riding bikes too.

Ride defensively... expect an a55hole to cut into your lane without signalling as long as you are not next to him. Expect them not to see you... unless there is eye to eye contact. He may be looking at you but not seeing you.

No point losing temper and letting your ego control the throttle...you may be right... but could be dead right too.

No need to talk about throwing marbles or rocks at windshields...or smashing windshields with helmets or kicking mirrors off. No need all this ego talk. No need all this drama... coz when it comes to push and shove on the roads... its bang and run over you. You lose... big time.

Just tell yourself every time you ride that there are a55holes out there and that you are not going to let them endanger you or spoil your day. Ride within the speed limits and never put yourself in a position that requires your outstanding riding skills or luck to get out off.

But if you think you are a good rider and love to weave in and out of traffic and must ride faster than anybody else... please go to the race tracks.

See how many people you can weave and race with down there. :thumb:

A "wonderful" riding experience... last friday when my fren schedule a ride with a small group of riders. Unexpectedly the queue towards m'sia was long at 2nd link, everyone queue up in an orderly manner with engine off.

Saw lots of Gixxer, a few BMW, Fazer and hardly seen KTM RC8 I guess the highlight of the nite was this cute lady riding a 09 YZF-R1. At that point of time I believe all eyes were on her.

After I pass the booth and make my payment, park my vehicle aside and wait for the rest of the dudes. After which when time to kick off the trip, my bike fail to start... after all the struggle and trying I end up gotta push the bike out and back to sillypore. Well luckily the AETOS guy and lady on duty that nite help me out so I can successfully transport the vehicle out of the check-point.

After-which was about waiting and waiting for help. LOL.

I came across another forum where one of the driver spoke, he mention that at times he signal but vehicles just don't give way to him. I does witness that myself day in day out. Whereas others signal, u slow down and let them join the traffic but no move from them. So you move up to fill the gap, then they shift out... funny driver.

Just to share my experience today on the road, and hope everyone can take this as a reference as well as as lesson.

This incident happened today evening when I was going out to buy dinner.

I was going through a zebra crossing filter lane (a left turn) when the accident happen.

(it was my fault)

There was a private bus infront, and I was pretty much at the same speed as the bus. Since I'm at a pretty low speed (like around 20-30) , I did not take much precaution against the private bus.

Being overconfident, I started checking right early (the main road) and with the traffic condition, I ASSUMED that the bus infront would most probably had filter out of the zebra crossing .

HOWEVER, when I turned back my head front, I saw the bus at a complete stop, waiting for the opportunity to go out. Most probably due to its size, it needs more clearance to go out, so our judgement was DIFFERENT.

I end up bumping into the back of the bus (a light one) and inherted an average scratch and painwork damage to my front wheel fender. Luckily I wasnt really hurt and the bike is still working.

I was riding in my estate, and for a short distance and I let my guard up. And this is what happen. I'm writing it here so that everyone can take this as a reference and really do keep alert while riding. I am very lucky that it occured at low speed and no much damaged is done (to both user and bike) ,

and also a reminder to myself .

there's a few occasion I misjudge my speed as when as the distance between me and the front vehicle. Which I force to swerve out to the next lane, which is so freaking dangerous that a ongoing vehicle can ram me.

..along PIE (westbound), exited at Jurong Town Hall exit and stopped at junction towards Bukit Batok, with a fellow KR rider beside me. Noticed the traffic light was red at the main road, with the right-turn signal just stopped flashing, followed by my own green light to proceed..So I thought it was safe to proceed, the KR rider already accelerated away.

Then as I was about to move off, I heard a double horn from the car on my left. Instinctively, I eased off the throttle and yup, to my surprise, a toyota corolla SJJ 322* * (can't remember the full plate) beat the red light from the main road and turn right to enter the sliproad to PIE, cutting right in front of me. Driver looked like a foreigner, with white skin and blond hair. I think if I had gone off sooner, my pillion & I would have flown off. And lucky for the KR rider, his pickup was very fast and got off the Toyota's way.

What was he thinking.. The green light for my right of way was on for about 2,3 seconds..and he still beat his red light-rightturn signal to turn.. sheesh.. :dozed:

oh mine, glad that you live to tell the tale. God bless.

agreed, but not to forget about checking your blind spot. When ever I travel to work in the morning, I'm wondering if its wise to travel between vehicle to avoid the queue. Weighting the amount of risk rider has to go through.

good one rap! encountered a few incidences on my way to work and witnessed how cars cut abruptly into a biker and another one shoving another bike out of the lane. they can see the bikers though cos i was behind and i saw everything....but yeah...we are always at the losing end. am a driver as well and there's no reason why any driver couldn't see bikes coming up from behind esp when u r stuck in a jam. drivers simply want to get into another lane as quickly as possible cos there's no give way attitude that exist here and as a result, ends up endangering bikers. am a driver too so i know that jumping into another lane sin't getting anyone out of the jam at much faster.

encountered some bikers (including a recent one on p plated SP) trying to out run me. my cc is slightly bigger so naturally i can get away faster...er what are they thinking. so its a male + ego thing?

i see riders do this lil swing out b4 turning into a bend...er that can be saved for sessions on the track too.

anyway, if not for some stupid training or early morning meetings, i wouldn't be here this early to write this...am normally late these days for work cos there are lesser idiots on the road after 9
